Ilmari Launis
Adolf Ilmari Launis (before 1900 Lindberg; 3 December 1881, Hämeenlinna – 10 April 1955, Helsinki) was a Finnish architect. Ilmari Launis graduated as an architect in 1905 and worked for a government agency overseeing the construction of public buildings between 1905 and 1937. In this capacity he was responsible for the design of several churches, parsonages, parish houses and burial chapels in Finland. Apart from providing the overall design, he on several occasions also painted altarpieces and designed stained glass windows and other details of the churches himself. He also worked for a period as City Architect of Kuopio. Konnevesi
Konnevesi is a municipality of Finland. It is located in the former province of Western Finland and is part of the Central Finland region. The municipality has a population of () and covers an area of of which is water. Neighbouring municipalities are Hankasalmi, Laukaa, Rautalampi, Vesanto and Äänekoski. Paltamo
Paltamo ( sv, Paltamo, also ) is a municipality of Finland. It is part of the Kainuu region. The municipality has a population of () and covers an area of of which is water. The population density is . There are two built-up areas in the municipality: Kontiomäki and Paltamo. Kontiomäki has about 600 inhabitants. It is from Paltamo to Kajaani and to Oulu. The municipality is unilingually Finnish. History Paltamo was first inhabited 8,500 years ago. The most sophisticated finding yet has been a weapon shaped like a bear's head. In 1552 king Gustav Vasa gave an order in which the areas of the Lake Oulu were to be inhabited. 140 families left there. In 1555 it was counted that there were 133 families living in Paltamo.
