Ilias Atmatsidis
Ilias Atmatsidis ( el, Ηλίας Ατματσίδης; born 24 April 1969) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is the Director of Football at AEK Athens B. Club career Atmatsidis started playing football regularly in his village team at the age of 13 competing as a winger. In a match against Foufa Ptolemaidas where the team's goalkeeper could not compete, Atmatsidis was called to play as goalkeeper. His performance established him in the position under the team's goalposts. He was then transferred to the team of the neighboring village of Agios Dimitrios, with which he was crowned champion of the local second division. He was then transferred to Pontius Kozani with whom he played in the fourth national division and at the age of 18 he joined Pontioi Veria, where he played for 3 years contributing to the promotion of the team to the second division. Dionysis Chiotis ( el, Διονύσης Χιώτης; born 4 June 1977) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Currently, he serves as a goalkeeping coach for AEK Athens Academy. Club career AEK Athens Chiotis took his first football steps in the team of Daphni Daphniou Chaidari. There, he was spotted by people of AEK and brought him to the club's academies. After 2.5 years, Dušan Bajević promoted him to the men's team. In January 1999, he went on loan to Ethnikos Piraeus and in July of the same year he went on loan to Proodeftiki for 1 year where he performed very well. The 1996–97 Greek Football Cup was the 55th edition of the Greek Football Cup. Tournament details Totally 72 teams participated, 18 from Alpha Ethniki, 18 from Beta, and 36 from Gamma. It was held in 7 rounds, included final. After 8 years the phase of groups was suppressed, while the teams of Alpha Ethniki would enter in the competition in the Round of 32. The Round of 16 was very interesting. Olympiacos eliminated PAOK and Panathinaikos eliminated Iraklis. Also, Ionikos tipped OFI with 7 goals. For third time in the 4 last years AEK Athens and Panathinaikos were pondered over in the Final, held in Karaiskakis Stadium. AEK Athens won on the penalty shootout. The 1995–96 Greek Football Cup was the 54th edition of the Greek Football Cup. Tournament details Totally 72 teams participated, 18 from Alpha Ethniki, 18 from Beta, and 36 from Gamma. Nikos Kostenoglou ( gr, Νίκος Κωστένογλου; born 3 October 1970) is a Greek football manager and former professional footballer who played as a defender. His nickname was "Father" ''( gr, "Πάτερ")'', because of his strong devotion to religion.
