Ildefons Lima Solà (born 10 December 1979) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for FC Andorra B and the Andorra national team. He has played club football in Spain, Greece, Mexico, Italy, Switzerland and Andorra. At international level, Lima holds the records for most appearances and most goals for Andorra as of 2022. Early life Lima was born in Barcelona, Catalonia to an Andalusian father and a Catalan mother. His family moved to Andorra when he was two months old. Club career Lima's first years as a senior were spent with FC Andorra, playing one season each in the Spanish third and fourth divisions. Andorra National Football Team
The Andorra national football team ( ca, Selecció de futbol d'Andorra) represents Andorra in association football and is controlled by the Andorran Football Federation, the governing body for football in Andorra. The team has enjoyed very little success due to the Principality's tiny population, the fifth smallest of any UEFA country (only Liechtenstein, San Marino, Gibraltar and the Faroe Islands are smaller). Andorra's first official game was a 6–1 defeat in a friendly match to Estonia in 1996. 2014–15 UEFA Champions League
The 2014–15 UEFA Champions League was the 60th season of Europe's premier club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the 23rd season since it was renamed from the European Champion Clubs' Cup to the UEFA Champions League. Primera Divisió
The Primera Divisió (First Division) or Lliga Multisegur Assegurances for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of men's football in Andorra. The league was launched in 1995 sponsored by the local federation (Andorran Football Federation) which was created just one year before. Until then, clubs had played since 1970 in an amateur league without a structure or affiliation with any official institution. Since affiliation to UEFA and FIFA in 1996, Andorran clubs are able to compete in the UEFA competitions. Until 2015 the league was known as ''Lliga Grup Becier'' and during 2016 ''Lliga Grup Sant Eloi''. It was renamed in 2017 as Lliga Multisegur Assegurances for sponsorship reasons. The Primera Catalana is the 6th tier of the Spanish football league system and the highest league in the autonomous community of Catalonia. The league was formed in 1991 to replace Regional Preferent as the first level of Catalonia and was split into 2 groups in 2011. Primera Catalana is one of 19 regional premier leagues in Spanish football. Structure The league comprises 48 teams (3 groups of 16 teams).
