Giuseppe D'Agata (11 January 1927 – 29 March 2011) was an Italian author, screenwriter and television writer. Life and career Born in Bologna, the son of a typographer, at 17 years old D'Agata became a militant in the partisan brigade "Matteotti Sap" and then in 1944 he enrolled the Socialist Party and later the Italian Socialist Party of Proletarian Unity. He wrote several novels based on his own experiences as a partisan, and some of his novels such as ''L' esercito di Scipione'' and ''Il medico della mutua'' were adapted into films. Carlo Hintermann (2 April 1923 – 7 January 1988) was an Italian film, television and stage actor and voice actor. He was sometimes credited as Carlo Hinterman. Life and career Born in Milan into a family of ancient Teutonic origin, Hintermann graduated in law, then he enrolled the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. Andrea Checchi (21 October 1916 – 29 March 1974) was a prolific Italian film actor. Biography Born in Florence, Checchi appeared in over 150 films in his lengthy career, which spanned from 1934 to his death in 1974. Franco Volpi (11 July 1921 – 1 January 1997) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Biography Born in Milan, Volpi formed at the Accademia dei Filodrammatici and debuted on stage in 1938, aged 17, in the company held by Renzo Ricci and Laura Adani. He often worked with Ernesto Calindri, on stage, on television and in a popular series of commercials.
