Ikerbasque
Ikerbasque, the Basque Foundation for Science, is a foundation promoted by the Basque Government in 2007 to contribute to the development of scientific research in the Basque Country by attracting researchers of excellence and consolidating careers, as well as actions to boost research. Its first scientific director was Mª Carmen Gallastegui, a professor of economics at the University of the Basque Country. In July 2009, she was replaced by Professor Fernando Cossío. Ikerbasque celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2017. Researchers Since its launch, Ikerbasque has had several recruitment programs for researchers with different profiles. All those researchers are expected to develop their work assigned to centers in the Basque science and technology network. Basque Government
The Basque Government ( eu, Eusko Jaurlaritza, es, Gobierno Vasco) is the governing body of the Basque Autonomous Community of Spain. The head of the Basque government is known as the ''Lehendakari''. The Lehendakari is appointed by the Basque Parliament every four years, after a regional election. Its headquarters are located in the Lakua district of Vitoria-Gasteiz in Álava. The first Basque Government was created after the approval of the first Basque Statute of Autonomy on 1 October 1936, in the midst of the Spanish Civil War. BERC
Berc is a small village in the south of France. It is located in the department of Lozère, in the Massif Central, on the border with the department of Cantal, at an altitude of . In 1968 there were 144 inhabitants. An independent commune until 1 January 1973, Berc now forms the new commune of Les Monts-Verts with the villages of Arcomie and Le Bacon.
