Ijaz Faqih
Ijaz Faqih ( ur, اعجاز فقیہ; born March 24, 1956, Karachi, Sindh) is a former Pakistani cricketer who played in five Tests and twenty-seven ODIs between 1980 and 1988. Biography Born to a Konkani family who migrated to Pakistan from the west coast of Maharashtra, Faqih was a relative of the Pakistani Test cricketer Ebbu Ghazali: his mother-in-law was Ghazali's sister. A middle-order batsman and off-spin bowler, Faqih played first-class cricket for a number of teams in Pakistan from 1973 to 1991. His highest score was 183 in the quarter-final of the Patron's Trophy in February 1978, when he captained Muslim Commercial Bank to a 609-run victory over Water and Power Development Authority; he also took eight wickets. His best bowling figures of 8 for 51 came seven months later in the BCCP Invitation Tournament, when he captained Muslim Commercial Bank to victory over Sind. Sindh Cricket Team
Sindh cricket team is a domestic cricket team in Pakistan representing Sindh province. It competes in domestic first-class, List A and T20 cricket competitions, namely the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Pakistan Cup and National T20 Cup. The team is operated by the Sindh Cricket Association. In the sport of cricket, a Player of the Match award is given to the outstanding player, almost always the one who makes the most impact, in a match, The term was originally used in cricket before being adopted by other sports. The award can go to a player from either team, but it is usually the winning team. In Test cricket, the man of the match award became a regular feature in the mid-1980s. It is usually awarded to the player whose contribution is seen as the most important in winning the game, but there have been many instances of a player on the losing team receiving the award. Tauseef Ahmed (born 10 May 1958) is a former Pakistani cricketer who played in 34 Test matches and 70 One Day Internationals between 1980 and 1993. Career Tauseef Ahmed made his first-class debut in early 1979 for Public Works Department against Pakistan International Airlines that was to remain his only first-class game for just over a year until his neighbor, Javed Sadiq, managed to get him a chance to bowl at the Pakistani tail-enders before the 1980 Karachi test against Australia. In cricket, a century is a score of 100 or more runs in a single innings by a batsman. The term is also included in "century partnership" which occurs when two batsmen add 100 runs to the team total when they are batting together.
