Igor Miličić
Igor Miličić (born June 9, 1976) is a Croatian-Polish professional basketball coach and former player who currently serves as head coach for Napoli Basket of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) and the Poland men's national basketball team. Professional playing career Miličić was one of the most talented players of the Split youth teams in the 1990-s. As the starting playmaker he was one the leaders of the Croatia national under-18 basketball team that won silver at the 1994 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship. After suffering a serious injury and a long recovery time, he moved to the Polish Basketball League. In Poland he became one of the best players of the league. National team career Miličić was named in the roster of the Croatia men's national basketball team in February 1998 for a FIBA EuroBasket 1999 qualification match against Netherlands. Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski, also known as Arged BM Slam Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski for sponsorship reasons, is a Polish basketball team, based in Ostrów Wielkopolski. They play in the Polish Basketball League (PLK) since its promotion back in 2015. The club won the Polish national championship in 2021 and the Polish Cup in 2019 and 2022. The Polish Basketball Supercup ( Polish: "Superpuchar Polski w Koszykówce") is the supercup game of Polish men's top-tier level professional club basketball. Each season, the winner of the Polish League, plays against the winner of the Polish Cup, to cap off the new season. It was managed by the Polish Basketball League (PLK) and was held in Warsaw, in the Arena Ursynów for the fourth time in a row. Anwil Włocławek won its fourth Cup title in club history. The 2018–19 Polish Basketball League (PLK) season, the Energa Basket Liga for sponsorship reasons, was the 85th season of the Polish Basketball League, the highest professional basketball league in the Poland. Anwil Włocławek defended its title and repeated as Polish champions. Teams Czarni Słupsk withdrew during the 2017–18 PLK season because of financial problems. On 17 May 2018, Spójnia Stargard promoted to the PLK as the winners of the I Liga, after defeating Sokół Łańcut 3–0 in the playoff finals. The 2017–18 Polish Basketball League (PLK) season, the Energa Basket Liga for sponsorship reasons, was the 84th season of the Polish Basketball League, the highest professional basketball league in the Poland. The season started on 30 September 2017 and ended 4 June 2018. Anwil Włocławek won its second ever title in club history. Teams Polfarmex Kutno and Siarka Tarnobrzeg were relegated to the I Liga after finishing in the 15th and 16th place in the 2016–17 PLK season. Legia Warsaw promoted to the PLK 15 years later, after winning the I Liga championship. On July 28, 2017, the PLK announced it expanded the number of teams to 17 by giving a wild card to GTK Gliwice, the runner-up of the I Liga. Polska Liga Koszykówki (PLK) (English language, English: Polish Basketball League) is a professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league in Poland. It constitutes the first and highest-tier level of the Polish basketball league system, Polish league pyramid. The winning team of the final round are crowned the Polish Champions of that season. It began in 1947–48, with the name of I Liga, and was originally organized by the Polish Basketball Federation.
