The 2022 Suzuki Polish Basketball Cup ( pl, Puchar Polski 2021) was the 58th edition of Poland's national cup competition for men basketball teams. It is managed by the Polish Basketball League (PLK) and was held in Lublin, in the ''Globus''. Qualified teams The eight first qualified after the first half of the 2021–22 PLK season qualified to the tournament. The highest-placed four teams would play the lowest-seeded teams in the quarter-finals. Start Lublin qualified as host of the tournament, and gained automatic qualification. Czarni Słupsk
Czarni Słupsk, more commonly known as Grupa Sierleccy Czarni Słupsk because of sponsorship reasons, is a Polish basketball team, based in Słupsk, playing in Polish Basketball League (PLK). The home arena of the club was Hala Gryfia. History In July 1945, the original Czarni Słupsk team was formed, by railway workers who moved from Krakow to Słupsk after World War II. The club was originated as an association football club, but in 1989 the basketball section was founded. In the 1998–99 season, the team promoted to the Polish Basketball League (PLK). In the 2005–06 season, the first club honour was one: the bronze medal. In the 2010s Czarni Słupsk was a steady competitor in the PLK, with several Playoff appearances. On 31 January 2018, Czarni Słupsk retired from the league and was dissolved due to financial collapse. Aaron Cel (born March 4, 1987) is a French-Polish professional basketball player for Polski Cukier Toruń of the Polish Basketball League. Professional career Cel made his professional debut with Le Mans in the French Pro A League. He later played with Brest, Boulazac and Nantes in the French Pro B League. In the summer of 2011, he signed with Polish team Turów Zgorzelec. After he spent two seasons with them in June 2013, he signed with Stelmet Zielona Góra.
