Idrissa Adam (born 28 December 1984) is a Cameroonian sprinter who competes in the 100 metres and 200 metres. His first international outing came at the African Junior Athletics Championships in 2003, where he was fifth in the 100 m final. He won his first continental level medal the following year, taking the bronze medal in the 4×100 metres relay at the 2004 African Championships in Athletics in a team including Joseph Batangdon. It was another four years before he won another major medal: at the 2008 African Championships he and Batangdon again claimed the relay bronze for Cameroon. He came fourth in that event at the 2009 Jeux de la Francophonie. He represented Cameroon in the 100 and 200 m at both the 2010 African Championships in Athletics and the 2010 Commonwealth Games, but did not progress beyond the early rounds. Idrissa Niang (born 25 February 1992) is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Iraqi Premier League club Al-Shorta. Club career Niang started his career with the football academy of the AS Sucrière de La Réunion, he joined the junior team in 2008, before joining the first team in 2010. Shehu Mustapha Idrissa Timta (1942 – May 30, 2014) was a Nigerian traditional leader who served as the 3rd Emir of Gwoza from October 1981 until his death in May 2014. He was killed in an attack by Boko Haram terrorists on May 30, 2014. He was born in 1942, the son of the second Emir of Gwoza, Idrisa Timta. He attended Muslim Elementary School, Gwoza, until 1948 and Senior Primary School in Bama, Nigeria, from 1952 to 1960. He then attended Provincial Secondary School (present-day Government College Maiduguri) from 1960 until 1964. He taught for a short time and then enrolled at Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, where he studied sharia law.
