Idaho Legislative District 21 is one of 35 districts of the Idaho Legislature. It is currently represented by Regina Bayer (Republican), Steven Harris, (Republican), and Megan Kiska (Republican). Idaho Legislature
The Idaho Legislature consists of the upper Idaho Senate and the lower Idaho House of Representatives. Idaho is divided into 35 legislative districts, which each elect one senator and two representatives. There are no term limits for either chamber. The crossing of upper and lower house districts into a single constituency is found in only seven U.S. state legislatures: Idaho, Arizona, Maryland, New Jersey, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Washington. Russ Fulcher
Russell Mark Fulcher (born March 9, 1962) is an American businessman and politician serving as the U.S. representative for Idaho's 1st congressional district since 2019. A member of the Republican Party, he represented the 21st district in the Idaho Senate from 2005 to 2012 and the 22nd district from 2012 until 2014. Fulcher ran for governor of Idaho in 2014 but narrowly lost the nomination to Butch Otter. He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018, succeeding incumbent Raúl Labrador, who retired from Congress to run, unsuccessfully, for governor of Idaho. Clifford R. "Cliff" Bayer (born August 16, 1964) is an American politician who served as a member of the Idaho Legislature from 2004 to 2019. Education Bayer graduated from Borah High School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Boise State University. Fred Tilman
Fred Tilman (born June 21, 1945) is an American politician who served as a member of Idaho House of Representatives from 2002 to 2004. He later served as a member of the Ada County Board of Commissioners. Early life and education Tilman was born in Caldwell, Idaho and attended Boise State University. Bill Sali
William Thomas Sali (born February 17, 1954) is an American lawyer and politician who served as a congressman from Idaho. A Republican, he served a single term in the United States House of Representatives, representing from 2007 to 2009. Sali previously served in the Idaho Legislature as a member of the House. Sali was elected to an open seat in Congress in 2006. He was defeated for reelection in 2008 by Democrat Walt Minnick. Sali was the first Idaho congressman to fail to win a second term in 56 years, since Republican John Travers Wood was defeated in 1952. Wendy Jaquet
Wendy S. Jaquet (born September 16, 1943) is an American politician from Idaho. A former member of the Idaho House of Representatives, she represented District 25, which comprises all of Blaine, Camas, Lincoln, and Gooding counties. Jaquet had served several terms as Minority Leader, leading the Democratic caucus in the Idaho House. However, in 2009 she relinquished the position to take a seat on the Joint Financial Appropriations Committee. She was succeeded as minority leader by Rep. John Rusche of Lewiston. Clint Stennett
W. Clinton "Clint" Stennett (October 1, 1956 – October 14, 2010) was a Democratic politician and a minority leader of the Idaho Senate. Stennett represented District 25, which includes Blaine, Gooding, Camas and Lincoln Counties. Stennett served in the Idaho Senate from 1994 to 2010, but was unable to fulfill his duties after the 2008 session due to poor health. He served as the minority leader from 1999 to 2009. He previously served in the Idaho House from 1990 through 1994. Stennett was president of E-da-Ha Inc., which owns television stations in Sun Valley, Twin Falls and McCall. John Peavey
John Peavey (born September 1, 1933) is a rancher and Democratic politician from Carey, Idaho. Peavey served in the Idaho Senate from 1969 to 1976 and from 1978 to 1994. From a young age Peavey worked on the ranch founded by his grandfather, U.S. Senator John W. Thomas. In 1969 he succeeded his mother, Mary Brooks in the Idaho Senate as a Republican after she was appointed director of the United States Mint by President Richard M. Nixon. Gooding County, Idaho
Gooding County is a County (United States), county located in the U.S. state of Idaho. As of the 2010 United States Census, 2010 census, the population was 15,464. Its county seat is Gooding, Idaho, Gooding. The county was created by the Idaho Legislature on January 28, 1913, by a partition of Lincoln County, Idaho, Lincoln County. It is named for Frank R. Gooding, the 7th governor and a United States Senator from Idaho. History Almost 15,000 years ago, the Hagerman Valley was formed by the Bonneville Flood which deposited thousands of smooth boulders which can be seen on the surface of the valley floor today. Elmore County is a county in the U.S. state of Idaho. As of the 2020 census, the population was 28,666. The largest city and county seat is Mountain Home. Elmore County comprises the Mountain Home, ID Micropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the Boise-Mountain Home-Ontario, ID- OR Combined Statistical Area.
