Clifford Bayer
Clifford R. "Cliff" Bayer (born August 16, 1964) is an American politician who served as a member of the Idaho Legislature from 2004 to 2019. Education Bayer graduated from Borah High School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Boise State University. Career Bayer was elected to the Idaho House of Representatives in 2004 and served until 2012. He served as a member of the Idaho Senate from 2012 to 2019. Pete Cenarrusa
Pete Thomas Cenarrusa (December 16, 1917 – September 29, 2013) was an American politician from Idaho. He served continuously for over half a century in elective office, first as a member of the Idaho Legislature and then as Secretary of State. Early life and education Born in Carey, Idaho, Cenarrusa graduated from the territorial school in Bellevue and attended the University of Idaho in Moscow, where he was a member of the Vandals' boxing team and the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in agriculture in 1940 and taught math and science and coached in Carey, Cambridge, and Glenns Ferry. During World War II, Cenarrusa was an aviator in the Marine Corps. Career Politics Cenarrusa was elected to the Idaho House of Representatives from Blaine County in 1950. Ben T. Ysursa (born June 10, 1949) is an American attorney and politician who served as the Secretary of State of Idaho from 2003 to 2015. Early life and education A native of Boise, Idaho, Ysursa graduated from Bishop Kelly High School in 1967. He earned a bachelor's degree from Gonzaga University in 1971 and a Juris Doctor from the Saint Louis University School of Law in 1974. Career Ysursa was admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 1974. From 1974 to 2003, Ysursa served in the Idaho Secretary of State office under his predecessor, Pete T. Cenarrusa. He held the positions of Deputy Secretary of State (1974–1976) and Chief Deputy Secretary of State (1976–2003). Ysursa was elected Secretary of State in 2002 with 77.5 percent of the vote.
