Ida Hegazi Høyer (born 1981) is a Norwegian writer. Of dual Danish-Egyptian heritage, she grew up in Lofoten and Oslo. She has studied sociology in school. She currently lives in Oslomarka. She won the Bjørnson Stipend from the Norwegian Booksellers Association in 2014. Lofoten
Lofoten () is an archipelago and a traditional district in the county of Nordland, Norway. Lofoten has distinctive scenery with dramatic mountains and peaks, open sea and sheltered bays, beaches and untouched lands. Oslo

Marka is the name of the forested and hilly areas surrounding Oslo, Norway. It includes areas within the municipality of Oslo, but also large areas in Hole, Ringerike, Jevnaker, Lunner, Nittedal, Bærum, Asker, and other municipalities in Viken county.
