Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu
Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu (née Carrena; born 8 January 1967) is the first lady of Lagos State in Nigeria, as the spouse of the governor of Lagos State Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Early life Claudiana Ibijoke Carrena was born in 1967 in the Lagos Island neighborhood of Popo-Aguda, the daughter of Paulinus Olusegun Carrena. Like most residents of the historic neighborhood, the Carrena family are Brazilian descendants. Career Sanwo-Olu graduated from the University of Lagos Akoka, Yaba campus, with an MBBS and went on to earn a post-graduate diploma in Hospital and Health Management (PGDHM) as well as a Diploma in Anesthesia (DA). She also has a master's degree in public health (MPH) and a master's degree in business administration (MBA). First Lady Of Lagos State
The first lady of Lagos State is the advisor to the Lagos State governor, and often plays a role in social activism. The position is traditionally held by the wife of the Lagos State Governor, Lagos State governor, concurrent with his term of office, although the Constitution of Nigeria does not recognize the office of the first lady. Babajide Sanwo-Olu
Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu (born 25 June 1968) is a Nigerian politician and the current Governor of Lagos State. He became governor under the platform of the All Progressives Congress after contesting and unexpectedly winning the gubernatorial primaries under the All Progressives Congress against incumbent Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State in October 2019. He is a graduate of the University of Lagos, as well as the London Business School, Lagos Business School and the John F. Kennedy School of Government. Before his gubernatorial ambition, he was the managing director and CEO of Lagos State Property Development Corporation (LSPDC). Lagos Island
Lagos Island (''Ìsàlẹ̀ Èkó'') is the principal and central local government area (LGA) in Lagos, it was the capital of Lagos State until 1957. It is part of the Lagos Division. As of the preliminary 2006 Nigerian census, the LGA had a population of 209,437 in an area of 8.7 km2. Brazilians in Nigeria, Amaros or Agudas consist of the descendants of freed Afro-Brazilian slaves who left Brazil and settled in Nigeria. The University of Lagos, popularly known as UNILAG, is a public research university located in Lagos, Nigeria and was founded in 1962. UNILAG is one of the first generation universities in Nigeria and is ranked among the top universities in the world in major education publications.
