Ian Hathaway
Ian Ashley Hathaway (born 22 August 1968) is an English former professional football midfielder. Hathaway began his career as an apprentice with West Bromwich Albion after youth training with Wolverhampton Wanderers. He began his apprenticeship late due to a broken arm, but in 1986 was released by new manager Ron Saunders without making the grade at the Hawthorns. He joined Wolves on a weekly contract, playing alongside Dean Edwards and Micky Holmes but was released when Graham Turner took over as manager from Brian Little. He began working in an engineering factory, joining non-league Stourbridge before moving to Bedworth United. Whilst at Bedworth he attracted the attention of a number of league sides before Ian Greaves offered him a contract with Mansfield Town in March 1989. Wordsley
Wordsley is a suburban area of Stourbridge in the West Midlands, England. It is part of the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley and falls into the Stourbridge (DY8) postcode and address area, being just north of the River Stour. Wordsley is part of the Dudley South Parliamentary constituency. It is bordered by open countryside to the west, Kingswinford to the North, Brierley Hill to the East and Stourbridge to the South. Micky Holmes
Michael Arthur Holmes (born 9 September 1965) is an English professional association football, footballer who played as a midfielder in the Football League for eight teams during the 1980s and 1990s. Career Born in Bradford, Holmes began his professional career when he joined Bradford City A.F.C., Bradford City his home town team on a non-contract basis, making his league debut during the 1984–85 in English football, 1984–85 season. After only a handful of appearances at Valley Parade, he moved on to Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C., Wolverhampton Wanderers in November 1985. Kevin Hodges (born 12 June 1960) is an English retired football player and manager who played as a midfielder, and now works as assistant manager at Dorchester Town. He spent the majority of his playing career with Plymouth Argyle of the Football League, where he is the club's all-time appearance record holder. He also played for Torquay United and went on to become their manager before returning to Plymouth Argyle as manager. After a period in coaching roles elsewhere, he returned to work for Plymouth Argyle where he is currently responsible for managing the youth team. Plainmoor is an association football stadium located in the Plainmoor suburb of Torquay, Devon, England. Since 1921, the stadium has been the home of Torquay United Football Club, who currently compete in the National League, the fifth tier of English football. Steve Spooner
Stephen Alan Spooner (born 25 January 1961) is an English footballer who played as a central midfielder. Spooner began his professional career with Derby County but got his breakthrough with Halifax Town, where in the 1982–83 season he was a key player in midfield in Halifax's highest league finish of the decade (11th). He then moved to Chesterfield where he won promotion in 1985, and then on to Hereford United, York City, Rotherham United, Mansfield Town and Blackpool before finishing his League career at Chesterfield. George Foster (footballer)
George Walter Foster (born 26 September 1956) is an English former footballer and manager, who now works as assistant manager to James Rowe at National League club Chesterfield. He began his career as a full-back, but was later moved into central defence. He began his career at Plymouth Argyle in 1974, and went on to spend eight years with the "Pilgrims", winning promotion out of the Third Division in 1974–75, as well as the club's Player of the Year award in 1978 and 1980. He also played on loan at Torquay United and Exeter City. He was sold on to Derby County for a £40,000 fee in June 1982, before moving on to Mansfield Town the following year.
