Iain Munro
Alexander Iain Fordyce Munro (born 24 August 1951) is a Scottish former professional football player and manager. Playing career Munro was born in Uddingston and began his career at St Mirren making 103 league appearances for the Buddies in four years scoring 16 goals before moving to Hibernian in 1973. He spent three years at Hibs playing in 61 league matches and then joined Rangers for a short spell before making a return to Love Street. Munro spent three years back at St Mirren before moving south to Stoke City where he spent the 1980–81 season making 34 appearances scoring once which came in a 2–1 away victory at Southampton. In the summer of 1981 manager Alan Durban moved to Sunderland and he took Munro up to Roker Park with him. He spent three seasons at Sunderland making 88 appearances and later played with Dundee United and ended his career with a second spell at Hibernian. Uddingston
Uddingston ( sco, Uddinstoun, gd, Baile Udain) is a small town in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. It is on the north side of the River Clyde, south-east of Glasgow city centre, and acts as a dormitory suburb for the city. Geography and boundaries Uddingston is located to the south-east of Glasgow city centre and approximately east of the Glasgow City Council boundary (ending at the former Glasgow Zoo at Broomhouse - part of Baillieston). Love Street (stadium)
St Mirren Park, more commonly known as Love Street, was a football stadium located on Love Street in Paisley, Scotland. At one time the stadium was capable of accommodating almost 50,000 spectators, however in its final years it had an all-seated capacity of 10,800. Until its closure in 2009, it was the home ground of St Mirren F.C. The football grounds on Love Street were registered as Fullerton Park for St Mirren's first season there as they were originally rented from a Mr Fullerton. The ground's record attendance was 47,438 for a match against Celtic in 1949. St Mirren completed construction of their new St Mirren Park in December 2008. The Scottish Football League (SFL) was a league featuring professional and semi-professional football clubs mostly from Scotland.One club, Berwick Rangers, is based in the town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, which is located approximately 4 km south of the Anglo-Scottish border. The Philadelphia Union are an American professional soccer club based in Chester, Pennsylvania. The Union compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Eastern Conference. Tony Fitzpatrick (footballer)
Anthony Charles Fitzpatrick (born 3 March 1956 in Glasgow) is a Scottish former football player and manager. He made a record 351 league appearances (458 in all competitions – since beaten by Hugh Murray) for St Mirren in two spells, playing for Bristol City in the two intervening seasons. Roker Park
Roker Park was a football ground in Roker, Sunderland, England, which was the home of Sunderland A.F.C. from 1898 to 1997, before the club moved to the Stadium of Light. Its final capacity was around 22,500, with only a small part being seated; it had been much higher, attracting a record crowd of 75,118. History In the 1890s, the then Sunderland chairman and his brother decided to build a bigger ground for the club, to replace what was then the club's current ground at Newcastle Road. The club had negotiated to buy farmland that belonged to a Mr. Tennant and part of the agreement was that Sunderland would have to build a house on the site as well as their new stadium.
