''I mine øjne'' (''In my eyes'') is a Danish song by the singer and songwriter Rasmus Seebach from the singer's second album ''Mer' end kærlighed''. The single was released on 22 August 2011 with the ArtPeople label as an advance single of the album. Context "I mine øjne" is about Rasmus Seebach's love for his family. It uses the melody in the chorus from Nicolai Kielstrup's song "Vokseværk" (meaning "growing pains" in Danish) which was a winning song for Kielstrup in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, as Seebach says the melody of the song co-written by him and others had affected him. Rasmus Seebach
Rasmus Seebach (; born 28 March 1980) is a Danish singer-songwriter and record producer who had his solo-debut with the Danish-language single "Engel" ( en, "Angel") in April 2009. Seebach has written and produced songs for Danish and international artists since the late 1990s. Together with his brother, Nicolai Seebach, he runs the production company Top Notch Music. The two wrote the music for the charity song "Hvor små vi er" ( en, "How small we are") for the victims of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami. His self-titled debut album consists of 12 tracks and was released on 28 September 2009, containing among others the singles "Engel" and "Glad igen" ( en, "Happy again"). Dansk Melodi Grand Prix (), also known as Melodi Grand Prix or simply DMGP, is an annual music competition organised by the Danish public broadcaster Danmarks Radio (DR) since 1957, which determines the for the Eurovision Song Contest. The festival has produced three Eurovision winners and fourteen top-five placings. History With the introduction of a semi-final at the 2004 contest, and due to Denmark's absence from the 2003 contest, Denmark's 2004 representative, Tomas Thordarson, had to take part in the semi-final. His song, " Shame on You" did not reach the final, finishing 13th in a field of 22 contestants. In 2005, DR made a bold step for Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. Tommy Seebach (14 September 1949 – 31 March 2003), born Tommy Seebach Mortensen in Copenhagen, Denmark, was a popular Danish singer, composer, organist, pianist and producer.
