Mikio Igarashi
is a Japanese manga artist born 13 January 1955 in the town of Nakaniida (now Kami), Kami District, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, though he lives in the city of Sendai. He is best known for his manga series ''Bonobono'' and ''Ninpen Manmaru''. In 1988, he won the Kodansha Manga Award for general manga for ''Bonobono'' and the Shogakukan Manga Award for children's manga for ''Ninpen Manmaru''. Shogakukan
is a Japanese publisher of dictionaries, literature, comics (manga), non-fiction, DVDs, and other media in Japan. Shogakukan founded Shueisha, which also founded Hakusensha. These are three separate companies, but are together called the Hitotsubashi Group, one of the largest publishing groups in Japan. Seinen Manga
is an editorial category of Japanese comics marketed toward young adult men. In Japanese, the word ''seinen'' literally means "youth", but the term "''seinen'' manga" is also used to describe the target audience of magazines like ''Weekly Manga Times'' and ''Weekly Manga Goraku'' which cater specifically to men's interests, and are marketed towards a demographic of young adult men between the ages of 18 and 40. Monthly Ikki
was a monthly ''seinen'' manga magazine published by Shogakukan. It tended to specialize in underground or alternative manga, but it had its share of major hits as well. The magazine started in 2000 as a spin-off of Shogakukan's ''Weekly Big Comic Spirits'', titled ''Spirits Zōkan Ikki'', published on a bimonthly basis, and became a standalone monthly magazine in 2003. Hozuki's Coolheadedness
is a Japanese manga series that was written and illustrated by . The plot revolves around Hozuki, a demon who works for the King and Head Judge of Hell. Kodansha serialized the manga in the magazine ''Morning'' between March 2011 and January 2020, and chapters were collected in thirty-one ''tankōbon'' volumes. The manga was adapted into a television anime series; Wit Studio produced the first season in 2014, and Studio Deen was responsible for a second season in 2017–2018.
