IECO Green Warriors
The iECO Green Warriors are a Philippine basketball team. It was formed in 2018, as a selection team of players and staff from teams of the PBA Developmental League and was tasked to compte in the 2018 The Terrific 12 tournament of the Asia League. They are also an applicant team seeking to play in the ASEAN Basketball League. The team's namesake is its sponsor, iECO, an incinerator-waste management firm. History Two teams from the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) were invited to compete in The Terrific 12 tournament of the Asia Basketball League to take place from September 18 to 23, 2018 in Macau but the PBA was unable to accept the invitation due to the tournament having scheduling conflict with the 2018 PBA Governors' Cup. Philippine Super Liga
The Philippine Super Liga (PSL; alternatively spelled as Philippine Superliga) was a non-professional corporate club women's volleyball league in the Philippines. It was first organized by SportsCore Event Management and Consultancy, Inc. and later owned by Athletic Events & Sports Management Group (ACES), Inc. The league was envisioned to provide former collegiate players a league with which they can continue with their volleyball career. The PSL also had a men's division from 2013 to 2014, although its beach volleyball tournament both have a women's and men's division since its inception. The Philippine SuperLiga All-Stars was a volleyball selection team composing of players from the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). It competed as a club team in international club tournaments outside the Philippines such as the AVC Club Volleyball Championship and the FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship. Dioceldo S. Sy (born March 6, 1958) is a Filipino businessman, sportsman, and team owner of Blackwater Elite in the Philippine Basketball Association. He is the sole proprietor of Ever Bilena Cosmetics, Inc. which he established in 1983. Early life Sy started out as a messenger and clerk for his grandfather's pomade business. Through his grandfather, who was a Chinese immigrant, he learned about trading and dealing with people. The 2018–19 ABL season was the ninth season of competition of the ASEAN Basketball League. The regular season started on 16 November 2018 and ended on 28 March 2019. Teams All the teams in 2017–18 season returned for this season. Richard Howell (born September 26, 1990) is an American-Israeli professional basketball player who last played for Hapoel Haifa of the Israeli Basketball Premier League.
