IAC Building
The IAC Building, InterActiveCorp's headquarters located at 555 West 18th Street on the northeast corner of Eleventh Avenue in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, is a Frank Gehry-designed building that was completed in 2007. The building was Gehry's first in New York and featured the world's largest high definition screen at the time in its lobby. Reminiscent of several other Gehry designs, the building appears to consist of two major levels: a large base of twisted tower-sections packed together like the cells of a bee hive, with a second bundle of lesser diameter sitting on top of the first. The cell units have the appearance of sails skinned over the skeleton of the building. The full-height windows fade from clear to white on the top and bottom edges of each story. Cosentini Associates is an engineering firm that provides consulting engineering services for the building industry. Company history Cosentini Associates was founded in 1952 by William Randolph Cosentini as W.R. Cosentini and Associates. William Cosentini was the second born child of Italian immigrant parents Eugenio and Vincenza Cosentini. He earned his MA in mechanical engineering from New York University. Titanium
Titanium is a chemical element with the symbol Ti and atomic number 22. The IAC Video Wall, located in the Frank Gehry-designed headquarters for IAC in Chelsea, Manhattan, New York City, is one of the largest high-resolution video walls in the world, wide and {{convert, 11, ft, m high. Jean Nouvel
Jean Nouvel (; born 12 August 1945) is a French architect. Nouvel studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and was a founding member of ''Mars 1976'' and ''Syndicat de l'Architecture'', France’s first labor union for architects.
