I, Claudia
''I, Claudia'' is a one-woman play starring Kristen Thomson, which was adapted into a movie, shown on CBC's ''Opening Night (TV series), Opening Night'' and at the Toronto International Film Festival. The play and film, written by Thomson, is a coming-of-age drama depicting the difficult transition into adolescence of Claudia, a 12-year-old girl struggling with her parents' divorce. Thomson plays all of the roles, using masks to change character. ''I, Claudia'' was published in 2001 by Playwrights Canada Press. Robert Graves
Captain Robert von Ranke Graves (24 July 1895 – 7 December 1985) was a British poet, historical novelist and critic. Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus (; 1 August 10 BC – 13 October AD 54) was the fourth Roman emperor, ruling from AD 41 to 54. A member of the Julio-Claudian dynasty, Claudius was born to Drusus and Antonia Minor at Lugdunum in Roman Gaul, where his father was stationed as a military legate. Written in the form of an autobiography of the Roman Emperor Claudius, it tells the history of the Julio-Claudian dynasty and the early years of the Roman Empire, from Julius Caesar's Assassination of Julius Caesar, assassination in 44 BC to Caligula's assassination in AD 41.
