I'm Spazticus
''I'm Spazticus'' is a British hidden camera prank show by Channel 4, produced by Jamie O'Leary. From the Channel 4 website, I'm Spazticus is where "A cast of disabled talent prank members of the public in a cheeky and irreverent way". Episodes Series 1 was first broadcast in August 2012 in the run up to the 2012 Paralympic Games, and starred Tim Baggaley, Tanyalee Davis, Tim Gebbels, Maxwell Laird, Andrew Martin and Simon James Stevens, Simon Stevens. Hidden Camera
A hidden camera or spy camera is a camera used to photograph or record subjects, often people, without their knowledge. The camera may be considered "hidden" because it is not visible to the subject being filmed, or is disguised as another object. Hidden cameras are often considered a surveillance tool. The term “hidden camera” is commonly used when subjects are unaware that they are being recorded, usually lacking their knowledge and consent; the term “spy camera” is generally used when the subject would object to being recorded if they were aware of the camera's presence. In contrast, the phrase "security camera" refers to cameras that are visible and/or are accompanied by a warning notice of their presence, so the subject is aware of the camera's presence and knows they are being filmed. 2012 Paralympic Games
The 2012 Summer Paralympics, branded as the London 2012 Paralympic Games, were an international multi-sport parasports event held from 29 August to 9 September 2012 in London, England, United Kingdom. Tanyalee Davis
Tanyalee Davis (born 27 November 1970) is a Canadian-American comedian. Davis has a form of dwarfism called diastrophic dysplasia and is tall. Career In November 1999, she placed second in the Seattle Comedy Competition. She was the first woman in 10 years to make it into the finals. In October 2012, she placed sixth overall in the San Francisco Comedy Festival. In April 2001, she headlined at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. She won the 2003 Norman G. Brooks Standup Comedy Scholarship Competition held at the Hollywood Improv. In August 2003, she was part of the "US Comedy Invasion" show, performing at the world's largest arts festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland. Simon Stevens, also known as Simon Walsh in Secondlife, born 1974, is an English activist, ''Huffington Post'' blogger, and disability consultant known for his discussions on disability issues in the UK and on social media. Stevens formed ''Wheelies'', a disability-friendly virtual nightclub within the 3D online community of Second Life. He is known as Simon Walsh and for his avatar's use of a wheelchair and helmet. Stevens was a prankster in the disability-themed hidden camera/prank show ''I'm Spazticus'' on UK's Channel 4 in 2012–2013. Martin Dougan (born 31 May 1987 in Partick, Glasgow) is a Scottish television presenter. He was born with cerebral palsy and is a former captain of Glasgow's wheelchair basketball team. Kelly Knox (born 1984) is a British fashion model. She has been voted one of the most influential disabled people in the UK, and is one of the few fashion models in the world with a physical disability. Knox became one of the first models with a disability to star at London Fashion Week in 2017. Early life Kelly Knox was born in Enfield, North London and raised in both Enfield and Poplar, East London. She was born without a left forearm but, from the age of seven, refused to wear a prosthetic arm and since then has never used a prosthesis.
