Tanyalee Davis
Tanyalee Davis (born 27 November 1970) is a Canadian-American comedian. Davis has a form of dwarfism called diastrophic dysplasia and is tall. Career In November 1999, she placed second in the Seattle Comedy Competition. She was the first woman in 10 years to make it into the finals. In October 2012, she placed sixth overall in the San Francisco Comedy Festival. In April 2001, she headlined at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. She won the 2003 Norman G. Brooks Standup Comedy Scholarship Competition held at the Hollywood Improv. In August 2003, she was part of the "US Comedy Invasion" show, performing at the world's largest arts festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland. She then embarked on a UK tour in the spring of 2004. She featured at the Edinburgh Fringe again in 2013. Liz Carr is an English actress, comedian, broadcaster and international disability rights activist. Early life and education Carr was born 21 April 1972 in Port Sunlight and grew up in Bebington, Merseyside. She attended Upton Hall School FCJ in Upton, Merseyside and Birkenhead High School in Birkenhead. Carr studied law at the University of Nottingham. Great Western Railway
The Great Western Railway (GWR) was a British railway company that linked London with the southwest, west and West Midlands of England and most of Wales. It was founded in 1833, received its enabling Act of Parliament on 31 August 1835 and ran its first trains in 1838 with the initial route completed between London and Bristol in 1841. It was engineered by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, who chose a broad gauge of —later slightly widened to —but, from 1854, a series of amalgamations saw it also operate standard-gauge trains; the last broad-gauge services were operated in 1892. ''Live at the Apollo'' (formerly titled ''Jack Dee Live at the Apollo'') is a British stand-up comedy programme performed from the Apollo Theatre, West London. Despite the title, the programmes are recorded, not live.
