Hvalsø
Hvalsø is a town and a former municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Region Sjælland on the island of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in east Denmark. The former municipality covered an area of 72 km2, and had a total population of 7,856 (2005). Its last mayor was Virginia Holst, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. She was the first foreign national becoming mayor in a Danish municipality. Cathrine Dufour
Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour (born 2 January 1992) is a Danish Olympic dressage horse rider. Representing Denmark, she competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro where she finished 13th in the individual and 6th in the team competition. At the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, she finished 4th in both the individual and team dressage events. Sports career Dufour started riding at age 5 and joined the Danish national pony dressage team at age 12. She has won several medals at the Danish and European junior and young riders championships. She has studied Leisure Management, Sports Management for a year at University College Zealand. Sara Blædel
Sara Blædel (born 6 August 1964) is a Danish author. She is best known for her crime fiction novels featuring Louise Rick. Blædel founded the "Sara B" crime fiction publishing company in 1993, and in 1995 she started to work as a journalist. Personal life Blædel was born in Copenhagen and grew up in Hvalsø, Denmark. She is the daughter of journalist Leif Blædel and actress Annegrethe Nissen. Novels Her novels have been published in 31 countries. Bramsnæs
Until 1 January 2007 Bramsnæs was a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Roskilde County on the island of Zealand in East Denmark. The municipality, lying between Roskilde Fjord and Isefjord, covered an area of 80 km2, and had a total population of 9,391 (2005). Its last mayor was Flemming Jensen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Kirke Hyllinge. To the east is Roskilde Fjord and to the west is Isefjord. The municipality was created in 1970 as the result of a ("Municipality Reform") that combined the following parishes: Gershøj, Hyllinge, Lyndby, Rye, Sonnerup, and Sæby parish. Skullerupholm
Skullerupholm is a manor house and estate located in Lejre Municipality, Denmark. History Skullerupholm was in the beginning of the 14th century owned by Anders Pedersen Uldsaks and probably his brother Sakse Pedersen Uldsaks. Sakse's daughter, Ingeborg Uldsaks, inherited the estate in 1355. She outlived her husband, Peder Jensen Grubbe, by more than 20 years. The estate was by then owned by several heirs. Ingeborg Uldsaks' son-in-law, Johan Olufsen Bjørn, was the sole owner of the estate from 1397. After his death in 1416, Skullerupholm passed to his daughter Eline Johansdatter Bjørn and her husband Sten Basse. Skulderupholm was after their deaths the object of a legal dispute between several heirs and lenders. In 1454, Gerver Lunge, Johan Bjørnsen and Oluf Axelsen Thott were each awarded one third of the estate. Oluf Daa, Bishop of Roskilde, acquired all three stakes of the estate in 1457–61.
