Hussein Zein
Hussein Ali Zein ( ar, حسين علي زين, ; born 27 January 1995) is a Lebanese footballer who plays as a right-back for club Ahed and the Lebanon national team. International career Zein played for the national under-19 team between 2013 and 2014. He also represented the under-23 team between 2015 and 2017, playing six times. Zein made his debut for the senior team on 5 February 2016, in a 2–0 defeat against Bahrain in a friendly game. He also participated at the 2019 WAFF Championship in Iraq. Al Ahed Football Club ( ar, نادي العهد الرياضي, lit=The Covenant Sporting Club) is a football club based in Ouzai, a district in Beirut, Lebanon, that competes in the Lebanese Premier League, the top flight of Lebanese football. The club was founded in 1964 as Al Ahed Al Jadeed, starting in the Third Division, before they first reached the Lebanese Premier League for the first time in 1996. 2018–19 Lebanese Premier League
The 2018–19 Lebanese Premier League season began on 21 September 2018 and concluded on 21 April 2019. 2018–19 was the 58th season of the Lebanese Premier League, the top Lebanese professional league for association football clubs in the country, established in 1934. Ahed were the defending champions. Shabab Sahel and Chabab Ghazieh joined as the promoted clubs from the 2017–18 Lebanese Second Division. They replaced Shabab Arabi and Islah who were relegated to the 2018–19 Lebanese Second Division. The 2018–19 Lebanese FA Cup was the 47th edition of the national football cup competition of Lebanon. It started with the First Round on 12 October 2018 and concluded with the final on 25 May 2019.
