Hugh Skinner
Hugh William Skinner (born 6 January 1985) is an English actor. He is best known for starring in sitcoms W1A (TV series), ''W1A'' (2014–2017) and ''The Windsors'' (2016–2020), and his appearances in musical films Les Misérables (2012 film), ''Les Misérables'' (2012) and ''Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again'' (2018). Early life Skinner grew up in London and Tunbridge Wells, and attended Eastbourne College from 1998 to 2003. He lived in Perth, Australia, for a year at age four. He graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 2006. Career Early work (2007–2015) Skinner's first professional acting role was in the English Touring Theatre's 2007 production of ''French Without Tears''. ''Any Human Heart'' is a British drama television serial, based on the 2002 novel of the same name by William Boyd. It was announced in April 2010, and was broadcast on Channel 4 from 21 November to 12 December 2010, consisting of four episodes of one hour each. A re-edited version aired in the United States on 13, 20 and 27 February 2011 (three one-and-a-half-hour episodes) on PBS. Nick Gill
Nick Gill (born 25 August 1982) is a former professional Australian rules football player who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was originally drafted by Melbourne in the 2000 pre-season draft but was delisted at the end of 2001. He then spent 2002 playing with Port Melbourne in the VFL and after a good season was selected by the Kangaroos in the 2002 rookie draft. He was again delisted after only one season and in 2004 returned to play for the North Adelaide Roosters where he was runner-up in the Magarey Medal in 2005. The Young Vic Theatre is a performing arts venue located on The Cut, near the South Bank, in the London Borough of Lambeth. The Young Vic was established by Frank Dunlop in 1970. Simon Stephens
Simon Stephens (born 6 February 1971) is an English playwright and Professor of Scriptwriting at Manchester Metropolitan University. Having taught on the Young Writers' Programme at the Royal Court Theatre for many years, he is now an Artistic Associate at the Lyric Hammersmith. ''Thérèse Raquin'' is an 1868 novel by French writer Émile Zola, first published in serial form in the literary magazine ''L'Artiste'' in 1867. It was Zola's third novel, though the first to earn wide fame. The novel's adultery and murder were considered scandalous and famously described as "putrid" in a review in the newspaper '' Le Figaro''. Helen Edmundson
Helen Edmundson (born 1964) is a British playwright, screenwriter and producer. She has won awards and critical acclaim both for her original writing and for her adaptations of various literary classics for the stage and screen. Early life Edmundson was born in Liverpool, in 1964. Most of her childhood was spent on the Wirral and in Chester. Edmundson studied drama at Manchester University. Theatre Royal, Bath
The Theatre Royal in Bath, England, was built in 1805. A Grade II* listed building, it has been described by the Theatres Trust as "One of the most important surviving examples of Georgian theatre architecture". It has a capacity for an audience of around 900. The Theatre Royal was built to replace the Old Orchard Street Theatre, funded by a Tontine and elaborately decorated. The architect was George Dance the Younger, with John Palmer carrying out much of the work. It opened with a performance of Shakespeare's Richard III and hosted performances by many leading actors of the time including Dorothea Jordan, William Macready and Edmund Kean.
