Hubbard High School (Ohio)
Hubbard High School is a public high school in Hubbard, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Hubbard Exempted Village School District. Sports teams are called the Eagles, and they compete in the Ohio High School Athletic Association as a member of the Northeast 8 Athletic Conference. The school, located at 350 Hall Ave, serves students in grades 9 through 12 from Hubbard, Ohio, but also a number of students from Youngstown and other surrounding communities through the Open Enrollment program. Built in 2013, Hubbard has one of the newer campuses in the area. Hubbard is a city in southeastern Trumbull County, Ohio, United States. It is formed from part of Hubbard Township, Trumbull County, Ohio, Hubbard Township, which was formed from the Connecticut Western Reserve. Northeast 8 Athletic Conference
The Northeast 8 Athletic Conference (NE8) is an OHSAA athletic league that began competition for the 2018-19 school year. It is primarily made up of members that were part of the All-American Conference along with previously independent South Range. Members History The idea for the NE8 was created in May 2017 when members of the All-American Conference's Blue and White divisions decided to break away and form their own league. South Range had previously been set to join the newly-created Eastern Buckeye Conference in 2018, but then received an invitation to join the AAC Blue tier with Crestview High School at the same time they were invited to join the NE8. The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) is the governing body of athletic programs for junior and senior high schools in the state of Ohio. The OHSAA governs eligibility of student athletes, resolves disputes, organizes levels of competition by divisional separation of schools according to attendance population, and conducts state championship competitions in all the OHSAA-sanctioned sports.
