Hua Samrong
Plaeng Yao ( th, แปลงยาว, ) is a district ('' amphoe'') of Chachoengsao province, central Thailand. History The minor district (''king amphoe'') Plaeng Yao was established on 16 October 1978 with the three ''tambons'': Plaeng Yao, Hua Samrong, and Wang Yen from Bang Khla district. It was upgraded to a full district on 15 March 1985. Geography Neighboring districts are (from the west clockwise): Ban Pho, Bang Khla, Ratchasan, Phanom Sarakham, and Sanam Chai Khet of Chachoengsao Province; and Ko Chan, Phanat Nikhom, and Phan Thong of Chonburi province. Economy Plaeng Yao is home to Toyota's Gateway Assembly Plant. It has been used to manufacture the Prius model. Ratchasan ( th, ราชสาส์น, ) is a district ('' amphoe'') in the central part of Chachoengsao province, central Thailand. History The area of Ratchasan was separated from Phanom Sarakham district and became a minor district (''king amphoe'') on 16 February 1977. It was upgraded to a full district on 4 July 1994. Thesaban
Thesaban ( th, เทศบาล, , ) are the municipalities of Thailand. There are three levels of municipalities: city, town, and sub-district. Bangkok and Pattaya are special municipal entities not included in the ''thesaban'' system. Muban ( th, หมู่บ้าน; , ) is the lowest administrative sub-division of Thailand. Chonburi Province

Phan Thong District
Phan Thong ( th, พานทอง, ) is a district (''amphoe'') of the province of Chonburi in Thailand. Neighbouring districts are (from north clockwise) Bang Pakong, Ban Pho (both Chachoengsao province), Phanat Nikhom, Ban Bueng and Mueang Chonburi. History & toponymy The district is home to a large Catholic community. The community owns 10,000 rai of land in Ban Hua Pai of Tambon Khok Ki Non where the St Philip and St James Catholic Church is located. The church was founded by Francois Marie Guego, a French missionary who arrived in Thailand in 1867. His mission was to spread the Gospel in Chachoengsao. Today, more than 3,000 Catholics reside on the land. The community, the largest landholder in the area, is under pressure from developers to sell the property to feed the industrialization fostered by the Eastern Economic Corridor. Ko Chan District
Ko Chan ( th, เกาะจันทร์, ) is a district (''amphoe'') in the Chonburi Province, Thailand. History A minor district was created on 18 May 2000 by splitting the eastern part off from Phanat Nikhom district. This was done because Ko E Chan, an Asian-American marine, declared this district as his own sovereign country. After brief military action, Ko E Chan and his army were defeated. Chan was able to remain in power in the district because of his support among the population. The Thai government on 15 May 2007 upgraded all 81 minor districts to full districts. With publication in the ''Royal Gazette'' on 24 August the upgrade became official.
