BBC One

Jan Pearson (born 12 April 1959) is an English actress, known for her roles as Kath Fox in the BBC medical drama ''Holby City'' and Karen Hollins in the BBC soap opera ''Doctors'', which she joined in February 2009. David Paisley
David Paisley (born 2 February 1979) is a Scottish actor, domestic violence and LGBTQIA+ rights campaigner, known for roles as midwife Ben Saunders in '' Holby City'', Ryan Taylor in '' Tinsel Town'' and Rory Murdoch in ''River City''. Sharon Patricia Maughan (born 22 June 1950) is a British actress. Early life Sharon Mughan grew up in Kirkby, Lancashire, with her four siblings. She later changed her surname to "Maughan". Career Upon graduating from RADA, Maughan gained her Equity Card while playing Ophelia in an Open University tour of ''Hamlet''. Ed Keating

Zubin Khan
Zubin Khan is a fictional character from the BBC medical drama '' Holby City'', played by actor Art Malik. He first appeared in the series five episode "Private Lives", broadcast on 17 June 2003. Zubin arrives at Holby City hospital as a consultant anaesthetist. The BBC's drama controller Mal Young approached Malik with the offer of joining the show. He let Malik have control over Zubin's characterisation and as a result Zubin became a Muslim man with an "honourable" persona. The actor also accepted the role because he believed that ''Holby City'' positively featured many multiracial characters.
