Hola Airlines (Baleares Link Express SL) was an airline based in Palma de Mallorca, Majorca, Spain. It operated European charter services. Its main base was Son Sant Joan Airport, Palma de Mallorca, with another hub at Madrid Barajas International Airport. History The airline was established in 2002 and started operations on 15 May 2002. It was set up by Mario Hidalgo, who previously ran Air Europa Express, and was majority owned by Gadair European Airlines with a 51% shareholding. It had 35 employees in February 2009. It ceased operations on 15 February 2010. Fleet The Hola Airlines fleet never numbered more than three aircraft. Gadair European Airlines was an airline based in Madrid, Spain. It was operating aircraft on ACMI leases for services to five continents. A number of changes of plan have been made, including a switch to Bahrain as the main hub. History The airline planned to launch operations on 10 April 2006 but was delayed due to licensing acquirement issues and began operations in June 2007. The Boeing 757 is an American narrow-body airliner designed and built by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. The then-named 7N7, a twinjet successor for the 727 (a trijet), received its first orders in August 1978. The Boeing 737 Classic is a series of narrow-body airliners produced by Boeing Commercial Airplanes, the second generation of the Boeing 737 series of aircraft. Development began in 1979 and the first variant, the 737-300, first flew in February 1984 and entered service that December. The stretched 737-400 first flew in February 1988 and entered service later that year. The shortest variant, the 737-500, first flew in June 1989 and entered service in 1990. Air Europa Express (legally incorporated as ''Aeronova, S.L.U.'' and previously doing business as Aeronova) is a Spanish regional low-cost airline. It is a subsidiary of Globalia (which is also the parent company of Air Europa). The airline is set to operate regional routes for Air Europa.
