''Hjem'' (English: Home) is a Norway, Norwegian drama series that aired in 2012 and 2013 on NRK. Its setting is the local community Vestfossen, where a father admits to his daughter that two other women in Vestfossen are her half-sisters. The three half-sisters are played by Jannike Kruse, Heidi Ruud Ellingsen and Kaia Varjord. Jannike Kruse
Jannike Kruse Jåtog (born 16 June 1975) is a Norwegians, Norwegian singer, artist and actor. Daughter of Professor and composer Bjørn Kruse, Bjørn Howard Kruse and Professor and author Gro Shetelig, sister of Anine Kruse, Anine and Benedikte Shetelig Kruse, Benedikte Kruse known from the vocal group Pitsj, niece to Philip Kruse, Philip Antony Kruse and grand child of Colonel Erling Kruse, as well as teacher in music and piano Else Grieg Shetelig. Career Kruse was born in Oslo and started playing the piano at the age of 6. Heidi Ruud Ellingsen (born 26 July 1985) is a Norwegian actress and musical artist. On the stage, she has among others played the lead roles of ''Singin' in the Rain'', ''Mary Poppins'', ''Tonje Glimmerdal'' and ''Flashdance'' as well as Solveig in ''Peer Gynt'' at Gålå. Vestfossen is a village in the municipality of Øvre Eiker in the county of Buskerud, Norway. Vestfossen is a former industrial city with traditions dating back to the 16th century. Die Throw (review)
The "die throw" ( no, terningkast) is a method of review which is often used in Norway. It is characterized by the use of a white-on-red die graphic to represent the movie's rating in the review, and is similar to stars or letters used in other countries. The format was introduced by film director and then-film critic Arne Skouen, who, writing for ''Verdens Gang'' on 31 March 1952, stated the need of "having a film première characterized in a short, concise form". To do this, he used a standard die with six pips, where one marked the lowest possible rating of a film, and six marked the highest. In some cases, a die with zero pips has been used, meaning awful. Similarly, people sometimes allude to "seven pips", meaning extraordinarily good. Usage In time, the die throw spread to other parts of the media.
