Amal Hijazi
Amal Hijazi ( ar, أمل حجازي; born 20 February 1977) is a Lebanese singer and actress. Hijazi released her debut album, '' Akher Gharam'', in 2001, followed by her second album, '' Zaman'' in mid-2002. The latter included four number one hit singles, " Zaman", "Oulhali", "Einak" and "Romansyia". Her third album ''Bedawwar A Albi'' was released in early 2004 followed by the release of her fourth album ''Baya al Ward'' in 2006. The album's opening song of the same name caused some negative publicity and controversy. Hijazi remained at the forefront of pop music with the release of her Gulf single "Nefsy Tefhamny" in 2007. Hejazi Arabic
Hejazi Arabic or Hijazi Arabic (HA) ( ar, حجازي, ḥijāzī), also known as West Arabian Arabic, is a variety of Arabic spoken in the Hejaz region in Saudi Arabia. Strictly speaking, there are two main groups of dialects spoken in the Hejaz region, one by the urban population, originally spoken mainly in the cities of Jeddah, Mecca, Medina and partially in Ta'if and another dialect by the urbanized rural and bedouin populations. However, the term most often applies to the urban variety which is discussed in this article. In antiquity, the Hejaz was home to the Old Hejazi dialect of Arabic recorded in the consonantal text of the Qur'an. Old Hejazi is distinct from modern Hejazi Arabic, and represents an older linguistic layer wiped out by centuries of migration, but which happens to share the imperative prefix vowel /a-/ with the modern dialect. Naseem Hijazi
Sharif Hussain (Urdu: ), who used the pseudonym Nasīm Hijāzī (Urdu: , commonly transliterated as Naseem Hijazi or Nasim Hijazi) (19 May 1914 – 2 March 1996), was an Urdu novelist. Life and career Hussain was born in an Arain family in the village of Sujaanpur, near the town of Dhariwal, in the Gurdaspur district of Punjab, in pre-partition India. He migrated to Pakistan after partition in 1947. He chose Islamic history as the inspiration for his novels. Among the notable writers of his time, Ibn-e-Safi, Saadat Hasan Manto, and Shafiq-ur-Rehman were his popular contemporaries. He lived most of his life in Pakistan and died on 2 March 1996. Fouad Moussa Hijazi ( ar, فؤاد موسى حجازي; born 27 June 1973) is a Lebanese football manager and former player who is the assistant coach of club Ansar. As a player, Hijazi was midfielder and played for Lebanon in the 2000 AFC Asian Cup. He also played for Bourj, Sagesse, Irshad, and Khoyol at club level. Farouk Hijazi
Farouk Hijazi ( ar, فاروق حجازي) is a former Iraqi government official who served the Iraqi government during the rulership of Saddam Hussein. Hijazi served as Hussein's Director of External Operations for the Mukhabarat, the Iraqi intelligence service for many years before becoming Iraq's ambassador to Turkey. The United States government claimed that while he was ambassador to Turkey, Hijazi made several trips in which he came into contact with members of al-Qaeda. Hijazi's alleged connections with high-ranking members of al-Qaeda served as one piece of information offered as evidence of an al-Qaeda link to Saddam Hussein used to justify the Second Persian Gulf War.
