Hidden History Of The Human Race
''Hidden History of the Human Race'' is the second studio album of Denver-based death metal group Blood Incantation, consisting of vocalist and guitarist Paul Riedl, guitarist Morris Kolontyrsky, drummer Isaac Faulk and bassist Jeff Barrett. All of the tracks from ''Hidden History of the Human Race'' were first performed live at the Fire In The Mountains festival in Jackson, Wyoming on July 13, 2019, and the recorded album was released in all formats on November 22, 2019 by Dark Descent Records in North America and Century Media Records in all other countries. The artwork consists of Bruce Pennington's front cover for the Brian Aldiss novel ''Space, Time and Nathaniel'' (1957) with the band logo and the name of the album superimposed onto it - incidentally this image was previously used for the cover artwork of both Alec Empire’s 1996 album '' Hypermodern Jazz 2000.5'' and the 1995 album ''Apocalyptic Dawning'' from Montréal death metal group Agony. Blood Incantation
Blood Incantation is an American death metal band from Denver, Colorado, formed in 2011. The band consists of guitarist and vocalist Paul Riedl, drummer Isaac Faulk, guitarist Morris Kolontyrsky and bassist Jeff Barrett. Their debut album, ''Starspawn'', was released in 2016 through Dark Descent Records and received critical acclaim from music publications such as '' Decibel'' and Stereogum. The band's sound features "a psychedelic take on classic death metal" and melds "technicality with tectonic riffs, cavernous vocals and eerie, Dodsengel-like moments of caustic stillness." On the band's style, Stereogum's Aaron Lariviere wrote: "Screaming leads cut a swath through the churn of atonal rhythm guitars, blending the bright melodicism of late-period Death with the alien tones of Morbid Angel circa '' Domination''." Immolation (band)
Immolation is an American death metal band from Yonkers, New York. They are considered one of the leaders of the New York death metal scene along with Incantation, Mortician and Suffocation. History Immolation was founded after the demise of Rigor Mortis (NY), a band formed in May 1986 by Andrew Sakowicz (bass guitar, vocals) Dave Wilkinson (drums), and Robert Vigna (guitar). After recording the ''Decomposed'' and ''Warriors of Doom'' demos, Sakowicz left the band in early 1988 and was replaced by Ross Dolan, and the band's name was changed to "Immolation".
