Hesthøi is a mountain on the border of Skjåk Municipality and Lom Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The tall mountain is located in the Breheimen mountains and inside the Breheimen National Park, about south of the village of Bismo. The mountain is surrounded by several other notable mountains including Sandgrovhøi and Moldulhøi to the northeast, Storhøi to the southeast, Hestbrepiggene and Steinahøfjellet to the southwest, and Hestdalshøgdi and Tverrfjellet to the northwest. There are 291 peaks in Norway with elevations of over above sea level and that have a topographic prominence of more than 10 meters. The following list includes those 186 that have a topographic prominence of 50 meters or more. The topographic isolation refers to the shortest ''horizontal'' distance one would have to travel to find a higher summit. Location of peaks Most of these peaks are in the municipalities of Lom, Skjåk, Luster, and Vågå, connected to the mountain chain that reaches its prominence with Jotunheimen. Skjåk is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Gudbrandsdal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Bismo. Innlandet is a county in Norway. It was created on 1 January 2020 with the merger of the old counties of Oppland and Hedmark (the municipalities of Jevnaker and Lunner were transferred to the neighboring county of Viken on the same date).
