Hestbrepiggene or Hestbreapiggan is a mountain ridge on the border of Skjåk Municipality and Lom Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The ridge consists of seven peaks, with the highest one, ''Nørdre Hestbreapiggen'' reaching an elevation of . The mountain is located in the Breheimen mountains and inside the Breheimen National Park, about southwest of the village of Bismo. The mountain is surrounded by several other notable mountains including Hesthøi to the northeast, Storhøi to the east; Merrahøi, Svartdalshøi, and Steindalshøi to the southwest; Holåtindan and Vesldalstinden to the west; Gjelhøi to the northwest; and Låven and Hestdalshøgdi to the north. List Of Mountains Of Norway
There are 291 peaks in Norway with elevations of over above sea level and that have a topographic prominence of more than 10 meters. The following list includes those 186 that have a topographic prominence of 50 meters or more. The topographic isolation refers to the shortest ''horizontal'' distance one would have to travel to find a higher summit. Location of peaks Most of these peaks are in the municipalities of Lom, Skjåk, Luster, and Vågå, connected to the mountain chain that reaches its prominence with Jotunheimen. There are also several peaks in Dovrefjell, Rondane, Dovre, Lesja, and Folldal that also reach above 2000 meters. All the peaks are to be found in 14 topographical maps ( Norge 1:50000) published by the Norwegian government cartography office, of which 21 peaks are in ''1518 II Galdhøpiggen'', 18 in ''1618 III Glittertinden'', and 13 in ''1617 IV Gjende''. Merrahøi is a mountain on the border of Skjåk Municipality and Lom Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway (just east of the border with Luster Municipality in Vestland county). The tall mountain is located in the Breheimen mountains within the Breheimen National Park. It is located about southwest of the village of Bismo and about west of the village of Elvesæter. The mountain is surrounded by several other notable mountains including Vetledalsnosi to the west, Holåtindan to the northwest, Vesldalstinden to the north, and Svartdalshøi, Steindalshøi, and Hestbrepiggene to the northeast. Breheimen
Breheimen is a mountain range in the Innlandet and Vestland counties in Norway. The area lies west of the Jotunheimen mountain range. The mountain range lies to the northwest of the Sognefjellsvegen road, north of the Sognefjorden, south of the Nordfjorden and Norwegian National Road 15, and east of Norwegian National Road 5 and European route E39. The mountain range includes Jostedalsbreen National Park and Breheimen National Park. The name ''Breheimen'' means "home of the glaciers", since it has many glaciers, including Norway's largest glacier, Jostedalsbreen. Other glaciers in the range include Harbardsbreen and Spørteggbreen. Some of the major mountains in the area include Skåla, Lodalskåpa, Høgste Breakulen, Tverrådalskyrkja, Hestbrepiggene, and Brenibba.
