Eli Eban
Eli Eban is an Israeli-American clarinetist and son of the late Israeli diplomat Abba Eban. Education Eli Eban was born in New York City and received his early musical training in Israel, studying the clarinet with Richard Lesser and Yona Ettlinger. After serving in the Israeli Army, he was accepted into the Curtis Institute of Music, Philadelphia, where he studied with Anthony Gigliotti. Abba Eban
Abba Solomon Meir Eban (; he, אבא אבן ; born Aubrey Solomon Meir Eban; 2 February 1915 – 17 November 2002) was an Israeli diplomat and politician, and a scholar of the Arabic and Hebrew languages. During his career, he served as Foreign Affairs Minister, Education Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister of Israel. He was the second ambassador to the United States and the first Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations. Michal Herzog ( he, מיכל הרצוג; born 15 May 1961) is an Israeli lawyer. Married to Isaac Herzog, the President of Israel since 2021, she is the First Lady of Israel. Early life Michal Afek was born in the Kibbutz Erin Harod. Her parents were Zvia (née Brin), a teacher from Afula, and , member of the Palmach and Colonel in the Israeli Defence Forces.
