Henrik Børseth
Henrik Børseth (30 April 1885 – 18 September 1970) was a Norwegian actor. He was born in Haugesund, and was married to actress Aagot Børseth. He made his stage debut at Det Norske Teatret in 1914, and was assigned to Nationaltheatret in Oslo from 1925. He typically played character roles. Among his best performances were his roles as the sailor Vingrisen in Nordahl Grieg Johan Nordahl Brun Grieg (1 November 1902 – 2 December 1943) was a Norwegian poet, novelist, dramatist, journalist and political activist. Haugesund () is a municipality on the North Sea in Rogaland county, Norway. While the population is greater in the neighboring Karmøy municipality, the main commercial and economic centre of the Haugaland region in northern Rogaland and southern Vestland is in Haugesund. Aagot Børseth
Aagot Børseth (29 November 1898 – 19 December 1993) was a Norwegian actress. Biography Aagot Tangen was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. She made her debut at Rogaland Teater in Stavanger during 1918 as Grete in ''Faddergaven'' by Peter Egge (1869-1959). Later she came to Chat Noir, where she noted herself as the street girl Gusti in ''Flammen''. She came to the Nationaltheatret in 1928 and performed there for 40 years. She made her film debut in ''Felix'' (1921) and participated in numerous Norwegian films including ''Frestelse'' (1940) and ''Selkvinnen'' (1953). She was also a widely used actor on Radioteatret and on television. She was married to Henrik Børseth (1885–1970), who was also an actor at the Nationaltheatret. She died in 1993 and was buried at Vestre gravlund in Oslo. The theatre was founded in 1912, after an initiative from Hulda Garborg and Edvard Drabløs. It opened in 1913, touring with two plays, ''Ervingen'' by Ivar Aasen and ''Rationelt Fjøsstell'' by Hulda Garborg. Its first official performance was Ludvig Holberg's comedy ''Jeppe på berget'', with Haakon VII of Norway and the prime minister of Norway among the spectators. Hulda Garborg was the first board manager, and Rasmus Rasmussen was the first theatre director. The theatre primarily performs plays written in or translated into Nynorsk. The National Theatre in Oslo ( no, Nationaltheatret) is one of Norway's largest and most prominent venues for performance of dramatic arts. Johan Nordahl Brun Grieg (1 November 1902 – 2 December 1943) was a Norwegian poet, novelist, dramatist, journalist and political activist. He was a popular author and a controversial public figure. He served in World War II as a war correspondent and was killed while on a bombing mission to Berlin. Background Nordahl Grieg was born in Bergen, Norway. He was the son of Peter Lexau Grieg (1864–1924) and Helga Vollan (1869–1946). He was the brother of Norwegian publisher Harald Grieg (1894–1972) and was distantly related to composer Edvard Grieg. In 1940, he married actress Gerd Egede-Nissen (1895–1988).
