Helga Vlahović
Helga Vlahović (28 January 1945 – 27 February 2012) was a Croatian journalist, producer, and television personality, whose career spanned five decades in both SFR Yugoslavia and later Croatia. She was one of the most popular television presenters in the 1980s. Throughout her career, she was also credited as Helga Vlahović Pea and Helga Vlahović Brnobić during the times she was married. Early life Born in Zagreb to a Hungarian father, Kalman Vlahovics (or Vlahovicz), and an Austrian mother, Vera. Helga grew up speaking German with her mother while learning English. Career Vlahović started working at Zagreb Radio and Television (part of the Yugoslav Radio Television network) in 1964, while studying German, English, and art history at the University of Zagreb. Lolita Laura Morena (born 15 October 1960) is a Swiss model and television hostess. Miss Switzerland She was a student of Egyptology when she won the Miss Switzerland pageant in 1982. She went on to represent her country at Miss World 1982 and Miss Universe 1983. Coincidentally she finished as third runner-up in both pageants and was awarded the Miss Photogenic Award twice. Jacques Deschenaux (born 9 December 1945 in Fribourg) is a Swiss journalist and television personality. He has worked for many years with the sports programming at the French branch of Swiss television. Among his journalistic works is a biography of Swiss racing driver Jo Siffert. The Eurovision Song Contest is an annual international song competition, held every year by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) since 1956. The Croatian War of Independence was fought from 1991 to 1995 between Croat forces loyal to the Government of Croatia—which had declared independence from the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY)—and the Serb-controlled Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) and local Serb forces, with the JNA ending its combat operations in Croatia by 1992. The Eurovision Song Contest 1990 was the 35th edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. It was held in Zagreb, SR Croatia, Yugoslavia, following the country's victory at the with the song " Rock Me" by Riva. It was the only time Yugoslavia hosted the contest. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcasters Yugoslav Radio Television (JRT) and Radiotelevision Zagreb (RTZ), the contest was held at Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall on 5 May 1990 and was hosted by Croatian television presenters Helga Vlahović and Oliver Mlakar. Oliver Mlakar
Oliver Mlakar (born 1 July 1935) is a Croatian television presenter. Best known for hosting game shows, he was one of the most popular television personalities in SFR Yugoslavia and later Croatia. Biography Mlakar was born in Ptuj and lived in Osijek from 1945 to 1954. He moved to Zagreb in 1954 to study French and Italian at the University of Zagreb and began working as an announcer for Radio Zagreb in 1957. Mlakar became a full-time broadcaster for Television Zagreb in 1965, hosting ''Poziv na kviz'' with Jasmina Nikić, the first quiz show on Yugoslav television. Directed by Anton Marti, only several episodes were shot. His most acclaimed work was as a games show host and he became known internationally for hosting ''Jeux Sans Frontières'' in the 1970s, and '' Kviskoteka'', a highly popular quiz show that ran from 1980 to 1995.
