Heino Pars (13 October 1925 Mustla, Viljandi County – 8 October 2014 Tallinn) is an Estonian animated film director. With Elbert Tuganov, he is the founder of Estonian puppetry animation. Mustla
Mustla is a small borough (') in Viljandi Parish, Viljandi County, Estonia. As of 2011 Census, the settlement's population was 818. 1938–1979 Mustla was a town with town privileges. In June 2018, a plaque commemorating Alfons Rebane was unveiled on the wall of a private building in Mustla where he had lived. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs protested the unveiling. Elbert Tuganov (22 February 1922 – 22 March 2007) was an Estonian animator and film director. He is known as "the father of Estonian animation". Life Tuganov was born in Baku, Azerbaijan to an Estonian mother and an Ossetian father. In 1946 he joined with Tallinnfilm Tallinnfilm is the oldest surviving film studio in Estonia.
