Heidelberg Football Club
Heidelberg Football Club is an Australian rules football club in Heidelberg, Victoria, currently competing in the Northern Football League. History Established in 1876, Heidelberg Football Club is one of the oldest Australian rules football clubs in the country. The club initially competed in the Melbourne Football League against other suburban clubs such as Northcote, Waverley, South Melbourne and Sandridge. Heidelberg's original guernsey was blue and white until adopting the current strip of yellow and black during the 1880s. Heidelberg has competed in many different football leagues during its history. Commencing in the Melbourne Football League, the club was a founding member of Bourke-Evelyn Football League in 1890. In 1903, Heidelberg transferred to the Northern Suburban Football League. The tiger (''Panthera tigris'') is the largest living cat species and a member of the genus '' Panthera''. It is most recognisable for its dark vertical stripes on orange fur with a white underside. The Northern League is a men's football league in north east England. Having been founded in 1889, it is the second-oldest football league in the world still in existence after the English Football League. It contains two divisions; Division One and Division Two. Division One sits on the ninth tier of the English football league system, five divisions below the Football League. These leagues cover the historic counties of Durham, Northumberland, Cumberland and Yorkshire's North Riding. Blair McDonough (born 30 April 1981), is an Australian actor who is best known for playing the role of Stuart Parker in the Australian TV soap opera '' Neighbours''. Renato Serafini
Renato Serafini (born 18 March 1953) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Fitzroy and Carlton in the VFL during the 1970s. Of Italian background, his parents, Carlo and Adelina arrived in Australia in 1952 from Marostica, a small town in the Veneto region of Italy. Serafini played mostly as a full-forward and topped Fitzroy's goalkicking in 1975 after kicking 34 goals in the season. Like his younger brother Laurie, he was recruited to Fitzroy from Assumption College. He crossed to Carlton in 1977 and spent two seasons with the Blues, before joining Frankston in 1979, the club's first season in the Victorian Football Association top division. Anthony Franchina (born 11 October 1977) is a former Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. Debuting in 1997, Franchina became a regular first-team midfielder at the Carlton Football Club. He was originally from Newlands-Coburg. In 2003 he found himself dropped from the team on a few occasions, and in 2004 the final straw came for him, when he was delisted without playing a game for the year. Brad Miller (born 6 July 1983) is a former Australian rules football player who last played for the Richmond Football Club. He previously played with the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL) until he was delisted at the end of the 2010 season. Early life Brad is the son of Neville Miller, who played 28 games with the South Melbourne Football Club. Justin Murphy (Australian Rules Footballer)
Justin Murphy (born 24 April 1976) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with four clubs during his AFL career. Early life Murphy was raised in Victoria, and is of Indigenous Australian descent. He attended John Gardiner Secondary College and played junior Australian football with the Central Dragons. AFL career Murphy is a true journeyman of the AFL, playing his 185 games at four different clubs. He is remembered as the player who was holding the ball in his hands when the final siren sounded in Carlton's upset 1-point win against Essendon in the 1999 Preliminary Final. Jess Sinclair (born 26 August 1978) is an Australian rules footballer who formerly played in the Australian Football League, Sinclair was a dashing Football (Australian rules) positions#Half-Back Flank, half back flanker who had played for first the Fremantle Football Club, Fremantle Dockers, and later the Kangaroos Football Club, Kangaroos. Ty Zantuck
Ty Zantuck (born 15 February 1982) is a former Australian rules footballer. He is the son of AFL footballer Shane Zantuck and the nephew of AFL brothers Arnold Briedis and Robert Briedis. He began his career at the Richmond Football Club ("the Tigers") after being drafted in 2000. In 2002, he finished ninth in the Richmond's best & fairest.
