''Heer Sial'' ( pa, ਹੀਰ ਸਿਆਲ - ہیر سیال), sometimes spelled Heer Siyal, is a 1965 Punjabi, Pakistani film directed by Jafar Bukhari,, Retrieved 8 June 2022 starring Firdous Begum (as Heer) and Akmal Khan as (Ranjha) in title roles. Despite its good musical score, this film did not do good business at the box-office in 1965. Firdous Begum
Firdous Begum (born Parveen; 4 August 1947 16 December 2020), known mononymously as Firdous, was a Pakistani film actress known for her role in 1970's ''Heer Ranjha (1970 film), Heer Ranjha'' film. She appeared in more than 150 uncertain films, including one hundred thirty Lollywood, Punjabi, twenty Urdu and three Pashto cinema, Pushto films. She started her career as a supporting actress with film ''List of Pakistani films of 1963, Fanoos'' in 1963, and later she played lead role in ''Malangi''. Biography She was born as Parveen in Lahore, British Raj, British India on 4 August 1947. During her career, she met Akmal Khan, lead actor of ''Malangi'', and later they married, however Akmal died in 1967. She then married Ejaz Durrani, her co-actor of ''Heer Ranjha''. She had three children, including two sons and a daughter. Her other prominent films include ''Khandaan'', ''Lai Laag'' and ''Aurat''. Masood Rana ( ur, , 6 August 1941 – 4 October 1995) was a Pakistani film playback singer. He began his singing career in 1962 with the film ''Inqalab'', became one of the top male singers in both Urdu and Punjabi films for more than three decades and remained a busy singer until his death in 1995. Naseem Begum ( ur, ), (24 February 1936 – 29 September 1971) was a popular, and well known Pakistani film playback singer. She was known as ''The Tradegy Queen'' for singing sorrowful and downhearted songs in films.
