Hatesphere
Hatesphere is a Danish thrash metal band from Aarhus, formed in 2000 by guitarist Peter "Pepe" Hansen. As of 2016, the band consists of vocalist Esben "Esse" Elnegaard Kjaer Hansen, guitarists Peter "Pepe" Lyse Hansen, and Kasper Kirkegaard, bass player Jimmy Nedergaard and drummer Mike Park Nielsen. The band has released ten albums and two EPs to date. History HateShpere was formed in Aarhus, Denmark, by guitarist Peter "Pepe" Hansen in 2000. HateSphere's first three albums, ''Hatesphere'', ''Bloodred Hatred'' and ''Ballet of the Brute'', gained them acclaim among heavy metal fans across Europe. Under the leadership of Scarlet Records, HateSphere toured Europe with The Haunted in 2003 and again with Exodus in 2004, while also appearing at Wacken Open Air, With Full Force, and Hellfest Festivals. Tue Madsen (born 1969) is a Danish music producer and sound engineer, who is well known in metal genre for his work with bands like Meshuggah, Dark Tranquillity, Suicide Silence, Hatesphere, The Haunted, Mnemic, Ektomorf, Cataract, Exmortem, and Born from Pain. His first work as a producer was the album ''Embraced by the Absolute'' by Autumn Leaves in 1997. Madsen acts at his own studio called Antfarm Studios. Evil Masquerade
Evil Masquerade is a Scandinavian band formed in 2003. Their wide range of musical influences make them difficult to categorize. Evil Masquerade themselves claim to be playing 'Devilish Rock'n'Roll'. But since that is a self-invented genre they are usually filed under heavy metal by the music industry. Metal Camp
Metaldays is a heavy metal music festival held annually in Tolmin, Slovenia, since 2004. The festival has been more popular every year with more media coverage and in order to not let it grow too big, in 2010 the tickets were limited to 12,000. The festival was organized by Austrian promoter Rock the Nation and Slovenian Master of Metal (MOM d.o.o.). 2012 was the last year when the name METALCAMP was used. Since 2013 the festival is called METALDAYS. The venue is the same, but the organizer has changed. Metaldays is organized by Slovenian promoter MIFI d.o.o. Raunchy (band)
Raunchy is a Danish metal band, formed in 1992. They have released six studio albums, and are currently signed to Massacre Records. History Raunchy was founded in 1992 by Jesper Tilsted, Jesper Kvist, and Morten Toft Hansen, who started playing mostly covers from bands such as Metallica and Slayer. Lars Vognstrup and Lars Christensen joined the band in 1994, and in 1995 they record their first demo, at Borsing Recordings in Århus. The song "Space Story" from the demo was later released on the compilation CD ''Extremity Rising vol. 1'', a rock compilation from Serious Entertainment. Formed in late 1995 by Björn Strid and Peter Wichers, originally under the name ''Inferior Breed'', the band changed their name in late 1996 to Soilwork (meaning "working from the ground up"). Mercenary are a Danish melodic death metal band that was formed in 1991. The band incorporates a lot of power and progressive elements in their songwriting. Roskilde Festival
The Roskilde Festival is a Danish music festival held annually south of Roskilde. It is one of the largest music festivals in Europe and the largest in the Nordic countries. It was created in 1971 by two high school students and a promoter. In 1972, the festival was taken over by the Roskilde Foundation, which has since run the festival as a non-profit organization for development and support of music, culture and humanism.
