Hassan Dahir Afqurac (English , (Arabic , ( Somali : is a Somali politician who was the Vice President of Puntland from January 2005 to January 2009. later died due to Liver disease in Nairobi. Early life Afqurac is a Somali, Mohamoud Garad branch of the Dhulbahante clan. He was born in Erigavo. Before the fall of the former Somali regime, he was a senior officer in the Somali Navy. After the founding of Puntland, he became a member of the Puntland Parliament and was the second vice-speaker of the parliament before becoming vice president. Las Anod
Las Anod ( so, Laascaanood; ar, لاسعانود) is the administrative capital of the Sool region of Somaliland. Territorial dispute The city is disputed by Puntland and Somaliland. The former bases its claim due to the kinship ties between the Dhulbahante clan and the dominant clan in Puntland, the Majeerteen, whilst the latter's claim is grounded on the border of the former British Somaliland Protectorate. The city was the proclaimed capital of Khatumo State throughout its existence until its dissolvement in 2017. Ahmed Abdi Mohamud Sugulle "Habsade" (Axmed Cabdi Xaabsade) is a Puntland and Somaliland politician. Dhahar is a town in the eastern Sanaag region, and the capital of the Dhahar District. Puntland is in effective control, but Somaliland also has territorial claims. Overview The town is disputed between Somaliland and Puntland, who has significant influence in the town. In November 2009, Puntland and Somaliland forces clashed near Dhahar. Measles
Measles is a highly contagious infectious disease caused by measles virus. Symptoms usually develop 10–12 days after exposure to an infected person and last 7–10 days.
