Hassan Al-Mamun
Hassan Al-Mamun ( bn, হাসান আল-মামুন; born 16 December 1978) is a Bangladeshi retired professional footballer who played as a defender. He was mainly deployed as a full back who could play on both sides of the field. He currently works as an assistant coach for the Bangladesh national football team under Javier Fernández Cabrera. Club career Mamun started his career with Team BJMC in 1992, when he was in tenth grade. Then he went on to join Fakirerpool Young Men's Club, who were known for developing talented young players during the early 90s, but Mamun established himself as one of the best defenders in the country, during his time at Abahani Limited Dhaka. He won numerous trophies with Abahani before joining Muktijoddha Sangsad KS in 1996. Mymensingh ( bn, ময়মনসিংহ) is the capital of Mymensingh Division, Bangladesh. Located on the bank of Brahmaputra River, about north of the national capital Dhaka, it is a major financial center and educational hub of north-central Bangladesh. 2003 South Asian Football Federation Gold Cup
The 2003 South Asian Football Federation Gold Cup was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh between 10 January 2003 and 20 January 2003. All matches were played at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. Originally scheduled to be held between 26 January 2002 and 5 February 2002, the tournament was postponed due to the suspension of Bangladesh Football Federation by FIFA. Afghanistan were not in the draw, but were included in the tournament following the recommendation from AFC to do so. It was also Bhutan's first tournament. The final was contested by Bangladesh and the Maldives. Ali Umar had levelled in the second half after Kanchan had given Bangladesh the lead. The match went to penalties and Asraf Lufty had missed from the spot for the Maldives. Firoj Mahmud Hossain ( bn, ফিরোজ মাহমুদ টিটু; born 15 January 1974), known as Firoz Mahmud Titu, is a Bangladeshi former footballer who played as a full-back. Rajani Kanta Barman (; born 2 February 1979) is a retired Bangladeshi international footballer who played as a defender for Muktijoddha Sangsad KS. He is former Bangladesh national football team player and has a total of 70 appearances during his 13 yearlong international career. Mustafa Anwar Parvez Babu ( bn, মোস্তফা আনোয়ার পারভেজ বাবু; born 25 July 1978) is a Bangladeshi football coach and former player. Dhaka Senior Division Football League, also referred as First Division Football League, is the third tier of football league in Bangladesh. Until 2006, it was the top-tier league of the country. Federation Cup, also known as Bangladesh Federation Cup, is Bangladesh's premier cup competition in men's association football. The competition started in 1980 and is run by the Bangladesh Football Federation which is responsible for all types of competitive matches in the country. The teams from the country's premier league and other clubs compete in the tournament while occasionally Indian sides were invited in the past.
