Burma Tournament 1995
The Burma Tournament 1995 ( my, မြန်မာနိုင်ငံပြိုင်ပွဲ ၁၉၉၅), alternatively known as the 4-nation Tiger Trophy, was an international association football friendly tournament organised by Myanmar Football Federation (MFF). It took place from 26 October to 4 November 1995 in Myanmar. Participants countries The following four teams will contest in the tournament. FIFA ranking as of 17 October 1995. Venue All matches were held at the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar. Group stage The four teams competing against each other in the group stage in a single round-robin method. Yangon
Yangon ( my, ရန်ကုန်; ; ), formerly spelled as Rangoon, is the capital of the Yangon Region and the largest city of Myanmar (also known as Burma). Bangladesh National Football Team
The Bangladesh national football team ( bn, বাংলাদেশ জাতীয় ফুটবল দল) is the national recognised football team of Bangladesh and is controlled by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). It is a member of the Asian Football Confederation, and became a member of FIFA in 1974, even though the Bangladesh Football Federation was first founded in 1972. Bangladesh was elected as a member of the AFC Executive Committee in 1982–1986 and 1998–2002. The current Executive Committee was elected democratically, under an AFC approved constitution and direct supervision of FIFA & AFC, in October 2020. Imtiaz Ahmed Nakib
Imtiaz Ahmed Nakib is a former Bangladeshi professional footballer who played as a striker for the Bangladesh national football team, during the majority of the 1990s. He has a total of 107 Dhaka League goals and is the current all-time top scorer for Muktijoddha Sangsad KC, with 57 league goals. Personal life Nakib was born on 1 September 1974, in Narsingdi. Mamun Joarder ( bn, মামুন জোয়ার্দার; born 1 April 1973), is a retired Bangladeshi footballer who played as a right winger. Mamun played for a total of 7 clubs during his 15 year long career, and he won the Dhaka League title with both Abahani Limited Dhaka and Muktijoddha Sangsad KC. Thuwunna Stadium
The Thuwunna Youth Training Center Stadium ( my, သုဝဏ္ဏ လူငယ် လေ့ကျင့်ရေး ကွင်း), simply known as the Thuwunna Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium located in Yangon, Myanmar. It is the venue of choice for most national and international football and track and field competitions. This 32,000-seat stadium is smaller but more up-to-date than the Bogyoke Aung San Stadium. It is part of a complex that also includes the Thuwunna National Indoor Stadium. The stadium's eight-lane running track is the first in Myanmar that conforms to IAAF standards.
