Jaffa is a popular carbonated soft drink produced in Finland by Hartwall. Jaffa is usually orange flavoured, however different flavours are sold. The brand is also notable for the numerous popular posters and designs created for it by graphic designer Erik Bruun. Hartwall Original Long Drink
Hartwall Original Long Drink (stylised as oriGINal) is a brand of lonkero produced by the Finnish brewery Hartwall. Hartwall first produced lonkero in 1952 when Alko ordered Gin Long Drink and Brandy Long Drink from the brewery. Hartwall has sold lonkero under the Original Long Drink brand since 1995 when production of the beverage was opened for everyone. From 1979 to 1994 Gin Long Drink was produced for Alko by the breweries Mallasjuoma and Sinebrychoff. The beverage is still produced under the original recipe from Finnish gin, water and grapefruit juice. The gin is distilled specifically for the Hartwall Original Long Drink, and all its ingredients are picked by hand to ensure the best possible quality. Lapin Kulta
Lapin Kulta (in English, Lapland Gold) is a Finnish beer brand. Lapin Kulta was also the name of the brewery in the Lapland town of Tornio, where the beer was originally brewed. The brewery was founded in 1873 under the name Torneå Bryggeri Aktiebolag (i.e., Tornio Brewery Limited Company). The brand is now owned by Hartwall, which is in turn owned by Royal Unibrew. The brand name ''Lapin Kulta'' is used for a variety of lagers of varying strengths. Scottish & Newcastle plc was a brewing company headquartered in Edinburgh, Scotland, which expanded from its home base to become an international business with beer volumes growing almost tenfold. The name Scottish & Newcastle continued to be used for the UK trading operation of Heineken International until 2009, when it was renamed Heineken UK. Karjala
Karjala is a Finnish lager type beer manufactured by the Hartwall brewery. Karjala beer was manufactured by the cooperative shop Osuusliike Itä-Karjala owned Sortavalan panimo Oy brewery from 1932 until 1944. Production was resumed in 1948. During the 1960s, Karjala beer was already a fading brand until the Soviet Union's ambassador to Finland, Andrei E. Kovalev, stated in 1968 publicly that the label of Karjala beer evoked wrong perceptions from the war times. Karjala beer's label has the coat of arms of Karelia which features an arm wielding a straight western (Swedish) sword thrusting a Russian sabre wielded by another arm. The press noted the event with an article spanning 14 broadsheet pages, and Karjala-beer gained new steam as a brand. Pommac
Pommac is the brand name for a carbonated soft drink made by Carlsberg Sverige AB of fruits and berries and matured in oak barrels for three months. The name comes from "Pommery", referring to Champagne, and Cognac, as it is matured in oak barrels like wine. Another theory of the naming is the French word ''pomace'', which literally means remains of pressed fruits. See also Ripasso. The recipe is kept a secret. In 1919, after his best efforts to keep his brewery running Anders Lindahl moved to Stockholm, Sweden as a failed businessman, and founded Fructus Fabriker and began to make Pommac.
