Hansung Science High School
Hansung Science High School (한성과학고등학교, or simply 한성과학고 or 한성과고) is a high school (ages 15–18) in Seoul, South Korea. It was opened in 1992 and selects its students from the top 3% of middle school graduates. Currently it holds 356 students (253 boys and 103 girls) with 56 teachers. It is located near Dongnimmun station which is served by Seoul Subway Line 3 (Orange Line). The school is for gifted students with talents in mathematics and sciences. Seodaemun District
Seodaemun District (, "Great West Gate") is one of the 25 districts of Seoul, South Korea. Seodaemun has a population of 313,814 (2010) and has a geographic area of 17.61 km2 (6.8 sq mi), and is divided into 14 '' dong'' (administrative neighborhoods). Seodaemun is located in northwestern Seoul, bordering the city districts of Eunpyeong to the northwest, Mapo to the southwest, Jung to the southeast, and Jongno to the east. Seoul Science High School
Seoul Science High School for Gifted Students is an academy for gifted students (ages 15–18) interested in science. The school was established in 1989, and is located at Jongno-gu, Seoul. It was established as one of the 'Science High Schools' in Republic of Korea. In 2009, it has become an 'Academy for Gifted Students' selected by the Ministry of Education of Korea. Now, it is one of the eight such academies in Republic of Korea.
