Hans Steinberg
Hans H. Steinberg is a German film, television, and stage actor, best known for his short role as Karl Koller in the film ''Downfall''. Life Steinberg trained as an actor at the West Coast Actors Studio in Vancouver. In 1993, Steinberg appeared in the series Der Fahnder and from this time on appeared in series such as Ein starkes Team, Marienhof, Die Rosenheim-Cops, SOKO 5113 and Sturm der Liebe, as well as in movies for TV and cinema. In the film ''Downfall'', he played the short role of General der Flieger Karl Koller. Steinberg is also active as a stage actor, in the season 2009/2010 his role in Schiller's drama The Robbers was Maximilian von Moor. Before that he worked from 1983 to 1987 in the TIK-Theater in Munich and then went on tour with various pieces. He also played in the Karl May Games in Bad Segeberg in 1993 and 1994. Störtebeker Festival
The Störtebeker Festival (german: Störtebeker-Festspiele) is an yearly open-air theatre festival in Germany. It is based on stories around the medieval German privateer Klaus Störtebeker and his Victual Brothers, who later turned to pirates. Founded in 1959 as part of an East German cultural initiative, the festival has become Germany's most successful open-air theatre event, and is broadcast by public television network NDR. It is held in the small town of Ralswiek on the isle of Rügen. Background In 1959, the "Rügenfestspiele" were founded in Ralswiek as part of a cultural commission of the GDR and the Ralswiek natural stage was created. The place for the then ''Rügen Festival'' was found in the spring of 1959 between Ralswiek Castle and the Boddenufer, and the natural stage was then built in five months of construction and the village was converted into a festival venue. ''SOKO Stuttgart'' (English title: ''Stuttgart Homicide'') is a German police procedural television series that premiered on 12 November 2009 on ZDF. It is the eighth offshoot of ''SOKO München'', launched in 1978 under the name ''SOKO 5113''. "SOKO" is an abbreviation of the German word ''Sonderkommission'', which means "special investigative team". The first season of ''Stuttgart Homicide'', consisting of twenty episodes, aired on ZDF from November 2009. In February 2022, filming began on the fourteenth season, made up of twenty-five episodes. Crossover On 3 April 2013, five SOKO teams were brought together for a five-part special titled ''SOKO – Der Prozess''. ARD is a joint organisation of Germany's regional public-service broadcasters. It was founded in 1950 in West Germany to represent the common interests of the new, decentralised, post-war broadcasting services – in particular the introduction of a joint television network. The ARD has a budget of €6.9 billion, 22,612 employees and is the largest public broadcaster network in the world.
