Hans Eklund
Hans Patrik Eklund (born 16 April 1969) is a Swedish football manager, and former football player. In his active career, Eklund played seven games for the Sweden national football team and was the 1992 Allsvenskan top scorer. Club career Eklund started his career at Mönsterås GIF. In 1987, he moved to Östers IF. With 16 goals in the 1992 Allsvenskan season, he was the league top goal-scorer. He stayed at Östers until 1997, when he moved abroad to play for Servette FC in Switzerland. He moved on to Chinese club Dalian Wanda, before playing for Viborg FF in Denmark. Eklund secured Viborg their first nationwide title, when he scored the only goal as Viborg beat Aalborg BK 1–0 in the 2000 Danish Cup final. He returned to Sweden, to play for Helsingborgs IF. 1994 FIFA World Cup Qualification (UEFA)
A total of 39 UEFA teams entered qualification for the 1994 FIFA World Cup. However, Liechtenstein withdrew before the draw was made. The CIS, then Russia took the Soviet Union's spot after the Soviet Union dissolved while FIFA suspended Yugoslavia due to United Nations sanctions stemming from the Yugoslav wars. The European zone was allocated 13 from 24 places in the final tournament. Germany, the defending champions, qualified automatically, leaving 12 spots open for competition between 37 teams. The 37 teams were divided into six groups, five of six teams each and one of seven teams (though Group 5 ended up with just five teams following Yugoslavia's suspension). The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. The latest edition, 2017-18 Danish Cup, was won by Superliga-side Brøndby, beating Superliga-side Silkeborg 3–1 on 10 May 2018 at Parken Stadium, thereby winning their first domestic trophy since 2008. AaB, (full name: ''Aalborg Boldspilklub'', ) internationally referred to as Aalborg BK, or sometimes also known as AaB Aalborg, is a professional football team located in Aalborg.
