Hanerau-Hademarschen
Hanerau-Hademarschen is a municipality in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated near the Kiel Canal, approx. 25 km southwest of Rendsburg. Hanerau-Hademarschen was until 2008 the seat of the ''Amt'' ("collective municipality") Hanerau-Hademarschen. Now the seat of the Amt is Hohenwestedt which is outside the area of Hanerau-Hademarschen. Hanerau-Hademarschen (Amt)
Hanerau-Hademarschen is a former ''Amt'' ("collective municipality") in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. The seat of the ''Amt'' was in Hanerau-Hademarschen. It was disbanded in January 2012 together with the Amt Aukrug, Amt Hohenwestedt-Land and Hohenwestedt to become Mittelholstein. Theodor Storm
Hans Theodor Woldsen Storm (; 14 September 18174 July 1888), commonly known as Theodor Storm, was a German writer. He is considered to be one of the most important figures of German realism. Life Storm was born in the small town of Husum, on the west coast of Schleswig, then a formally independent duchy ruled by the king of Denmark. His parents were the lawyer ''Johann Casimir Storm'' (1790–1874) and ''Lucie Storm'', née Woldsen (1797–1879). Storm attended school in Husum and Lübeck and studied law in Kiel and Berlin. While still a law student in Kiel he published a first volume of verse together with the brothers Tycho and Theodor Mommsen (1843). Storm was involved in the 1848 revolutions and sympathized with the liberal goals of a united Germany under a constitutional monarchy in which every class could participate in the political process. Rendsburg-Eckernförde
Rendsburg-Eckernförde (; da, Rendsborg-Egernførde) is a district in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is bounded by (from the east and clockwise) the city of Kiel, the district of Plön (district), Plön, the city of Neumünster, the districts of Segeberg, Steinburg, Dithmarschen and Schleswig-Flensburg, and the Baltic Sea. History In 1867 the Prussian administration established twenty districts in its province of Schleswig-Holstein, among them the districts of Rendsburg and Eckernförde. The present district was established in 1970 by merging the former districts. Geography The district is situated at the coast of the Baltic Sea, roughly between the cities of city of Schleswig, Schleswig and Kiel. Ingo Kühl
Ingo Kühl (born 29 June 1953) is a German painter, sculptor and architect. Life Grown up in Bovenau near Kiel in Schleswig-Holstein as a son of a policeman, Ingo Kühl attended the Theodor-Storm-Realschule in Hanerau-Hademarschen. After a traineeship as a carpenter and a drafter he studied Architecture at the Kiel University of Applied Sciences. From 1977 to 1982, he studied Architecture and Fine Arts at the Berlin University of the Arts. At that time Surrealism influenced his drawings dealing with Architectural Fantasies. Motivated by an encounter with the painter Heinz Trökes in 1979, he turned towards painting. He traveled throughout Europe using his first sketchbooks. In 1977 a trip to Israel, Sinai Peninsula, followed. In 1978 he participated in an excursion to Teheran led by Prof. Rainer Ernst, with a sojourn in Isfahan. Kiel Canal
The Kiel Canal (german: Nord-Ostsee-Kanal, literally "North- oEast alticSea canal", formerly known as the ) is a long freshwater canal in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. The canal was finished in 1895, but later widened, and links the North Sea at Brunsbüttel to the Baltic Sea at Kiel-Holtenau. Rendsburg
Rendsburg ( da, Rendsborg, also ''Rensborg'', nds, Rendsborg, also ''Rensborg'') is a town on the River Eider and the Kiel Canal in the central part of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is the capital of the ''Kreis'' (district) of Rendsburg-Eckernförde. , it had a population of 28,476. Amt is a type of administrative division governing a group of municipalities, today only in Germany, but formerly also common in other countries of Northern Europe.
