The Handball International Championships are yearly held competitions where many countries and regions play the handball sports derived from the Jeu de paume. It is organized by the International Ball game Confederation, and there are three official varieties (International fronton, International game, and Llargues), but local modalities are also played. Jeu De Paume
''Jeu de paume'' (, ; originally spelled ; ), nowadays known as real tennis, (US) court tennis or (in France) ''courte paume'', is a ball-and-court game that originated in France. It was an indoor precursor of tennis played without racquets, and so "game of the hand", though these were eventually introduced. It is a former Olympic sport, and has the oldest ongoing annual world championship in sport, first established over 250 years ago. The term also refers to the court on which the game is played and its building, which in the 17th century was sometimes converted into a theatre. Johan van der Meulen (11 January 1915, Breda - 13 September 2005, Breda), better known by his pseudonym John O'Mill (a jocular translation of his given name, as if O' stands for "of the"), was a Dutch author mostly known for his wordplay and limericks, and for using a macaronic combination of Dutch and English words and sentence structures he called "Double Dutch" (itself a pun on various meanings of this phrase). José María Sarasol Soler ( El Genovés 1970), Sarasol II, is a Valencian pilota professional player. His brother Enric was ''Sarasol I''. He has been member of the Valencian Pilota Squad for 11 years and has deserved to be awarded as the ''Best Player'' at the Argentina'02 Handball International Championships. Vicente Grau Juan (born 6 April 1968 in València) is a professional Valencian pilota player known as Grau. He plays mainly Escala i corda matches and is one of the best ''mitgers'' (midfield) playing for the ValNet company, due to his fast and strong ball-strikes (''bot-de-braç'' and ''volea''), he has been the first ''mitger'' who won the Trofeu Individual Bancaixa, a competition for ''dauers''. He has been a recurrent member of the Valencian Pilota Squad, attaining many prizes, specially the "World's best player" twice. Enric Sarasol
Enric Sarasol Soler (born 1964, in El Genovés), known as Sarasol I, was a professional Valencian pilota player. He retired in 2004 and for 3 years he was the Sports General Director of the Generalitat Valenciana, until 2007. He used to play Escala i corda matches with his brother Sarasol II, forming one of the stronger duos for 20 years. History He began playing Raspall as is usual in the Costera region. When he was 15 years old he replaced Fenollosa in an Escala i corda competition for youngsters and amazed everybody with his technique. Soon after that, he began playing against professional ''pilotaris'' in the Guadassuar trinquet, where he learnt to be a ''dauer''. On 1983 he first won a one-on-one match against Fredi, and later on he won Eusebio. On 1986 he was the runner-up of the first Trofeu Individual Bancaixa losing the final match against the almost invincible Genovés I. Galeras
Galeras (Urcunina among the 16th-century Indigenous peoples of the Americas, indigenous people) is an Andes, Andean stratovolcano in the Colombian Departments of Colombia, department of Nariño Department, Nariño, near the departmental capital Pasto (Colombia), Pasto. Senyera
The Senyera (; meaning "pennon", "standard", "banner", "ensign", or, more generically, "flag" in Catalan language, Catalan) is a vexillological symbol based on the coat of arms of the Crown of Aragon, which consists of four red stripes on a yellow field. Valenciennes

Franeker
Franeker (; fry, Frjentsjer) is one of the eleven historical cities of Friesland and capital of the municipality of Waadhoeke. It is located north of the Van Harinxmakanaal and about 20 km west of Leeuwarden. As of 1 January 2014, it had 12,781 inhabitants. Maubeuge
Maubeuge (; historical nl, Mabuse or nl, Malbode; pcd, Maubeuche) is a commune in the Nord department in northern France. It is situated on both banks of the Sambre (here canalized), east of Valenciennes and about from the Belgian border.
